Alright, I'm not that far in but I'm not seeing how we are going to move forward with this love story yet LOL she made the wrong choice for a romance!!

I'm really confused. didn't at the end of book one she decided to stay? but the first 3 chapters is their trip back to the entrance. I will read more tonight. I've been at the beach all weekend lol. but I'm so thrown off by how the last ended and this one started

I think we left the last one off that she didn't want to go but we hadn't done anything about it....but I was confused at first too lol

I haven't read much myself this weekend so I'm sure we are right around the same place!

I could' ve sworn she said she wanted to stay lol. I'm at ch 4. I'm still confused so I hope it gets better

I'm kinda hoping since she is gone and he is sort of brooding that we start to find out about his past, like his father and siblings and how they got turned. I guess we will see!

I guess so!! I am at Ben's part where he is explaining what his experience was...I am curious to see how she ends up back at The Shade...because you know she has to lol. Defeats the purpose of the story

Oh Ben's experience was so sad...I felt horrible for him, that Claudia is all sorts of crazy...

Yea, that was pretty bad, and he can't even feel anymore? That whole scene was...intense....

I mean I just dont know about this book...or this series in general....Where are you at? I dont want to give anything away if I am further then you...I think we might be about the same place?

I think it was chapter 13 I left off at...

I can't really remember what chapter lol but I think that's it. Ben and Sofia just had his parents show up and the they told the cops they ran away. I didn't get much done over the weekend lol

I gotta catch up loL I'm glad its falling into place though because I feel like the further in I get the more elements are thrown in making it more and more complicated and scattered

it does that....but just wait til you get to where Ben meets Reuben from the hunters...you will spit. And when you meet Ingrid...you will spit more. lol. I wont go further into it though! :) Basically, book 3 comes out soon and based on how it left off, I need to finish it.

oh me too! I was like WTF?! you can't do that...you cant...after what I feel like it took me to even get through the first book....taking so long to get anywhere in the second...you end like THAT?!

I wasn't expecting to be done this morning haha...I didnt bring a book to read on the way home...Guess I will have to continue on with Alice in Deadland til tomorrow haha

I'll give it that, I flew threw the first one and it isn't a hard read by any stretch of the imagination

What chapter are you on? I can tell you right around it starts picking up...around 30-35....When Sofia makes her choice and Ben makes his and meets Reuben LOL I dont wanna give anything away....

Yep, almost there, I'm on 27. I feel like the last 14 chapters were only hours in the story...

yeah here soon it will speed up...i couldnt stop after that point...it was like "wait...what?!"

I FINALLY FINISHED! I thought it kinda came together, overall at least, but damn that cliff hanger. Definitely going to have to read the third one when it comes out!

I think I liked the first one better....I can't decide. I just feel like this one went so sideways at some points that it was kinda all over the place...

Is this just a trilogy? Because honestly I don't really see how it's going to be a drawn-out series. I just don't. If this is the author's first attempt at writing I can understand. This really isn't a series I think I would suggest other people. But because I've started it I just need to finish it and hopefully it'll bring it all together much more cohesively than it has been

I think it's a trilogy...in fact I believe the third one comes out in July
