Lyna Forge (lynaforge) Hello again.

I am not sure how many isbn numbers can be put in but here it is, for December 15th distribution.

ebook isbn: 978-0-9895060-0-7
paperback: 978-0-9895060-1-4
hardback: 978-0-9895060-2-1

this is for the title In Liam's Wake

any updates you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Catalina | 2066 comments Added the ISBN to the pbk already in the database, the rest will have the same cover?

message 3: by Lyna (new)

Lyna Forge (lynaforge) Yes, as far as I know, they will all have the same cover. does this mean i have to make 3 listing for each copy?

message 4: by Lyna (new)

Lyna Forge (lynaforge) is there any way to avoid doing that?

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments Each edition/format has a separate record, these are then "combined" to make one book record 'stack'. :)

If you want to claim your author profile: http://www.goodreads.com/author/confi...

Also if you have a short description that you wish to add..

Lyna Forge (lynaforge) Thank you so much. You guys are so fast. Now, just waiting for the author page. If I get the author page confirmed, am I able to change the info on there at will?

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments "At will" no. There are certain rules that need to be followed or you will lose editing privileges. If you think of this as a library rather than a bookshop, it helps explain why we don't change data.

Key ones:
DO add missing data - missing data hurts our OCD tendencies and so we love if being added :D
Do not (try to) remove covers if the book is reissued with a different one - create a new edition instead.
Do alter data after a book has been published to make a record 'match' a newer edition. Again create a new edition.

Rule of thumb -
If the data was accurate in the past (e.g. for a Kindle edition that is now no longer available) then DO NOT TOUCH.
If the data was NEVER accurate in any version (e.g. it was supposed to be published in May 2012, but wasn't released in the end until June 2012), fix that.

Finally: If in doubt, ask! We are always happy to help / guide / advise / fix, so ask and we can assist :)
