Susan Ee's book Angelfall in the series Penryn & the End of Days quickly became one of my favorites. There are many of us anxiously awaiting the release of book 2, World After, which is scheduled for Oct 2013.

Goodreads has created a chat group where we can ask her questions on Tues, 28 May.

Learned some interesting things about book 2 from this Q&A with Susan Ee here on GR at http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1... :

Title release should be sometime next week so check her blog! She is working on a synopsis right now which may or may not be released at that time.

Book 2 is finished and in the publisher's hands - release is still slated for later this year.

Book 2 is "action packed" - she took sword fighting lessons since Penryn has Raffe's sword now, so I'm thinking Pen will get to use it. :D

Paige will have a bigger role in book 2.

In book 2 we'll get a glimpse of Raffe's POV from book 1!!!!!!!!!!

Not so great - it also shows expected publication pushed back to November. Grrrr.

I actually saw Angelfall in paperback at one of the chain stores here, today. I was amazed as we usually only get the super super popular books. Good on Susan!!

Hubby recently gifted me the audio of Angelfall. If I like it, I may ask for the sequel (once on audio) as well. I'm sure I'll read it (the sequel) before then though. :)

Is there a buddy read for World After? If there is can someone post the link? I can't find it. So excited!!! Every time I hear "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons I think of this series (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009...), and now I think of their song "Demons" as Raffe's song (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009...). :)
