message 54: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (kpssart) | 7 comments I agree with you, Frankie, about exit strategy. I wasn't sure if it was the supernatural stuff I enjoyed or KA's writing. So I have put off reading exit strategy but I will get to it.

It is! Haha, we moved to a bigger house a couple months ago. The house we lived in before was one story and practicably just a giant hallway! Oh and 4 tiny bedrooms.

Lori {Romancing the Dark Side} (romancingthedarkside) | 5 comments Hi Everyone,
I'm into paranormal romance more than YA so I decided to read the Women of the Otherworld series. I read Bitten a few months ago and loved it! I'm in the process of starting Stolen once I get my Goodreads challenges done! I've convinced my sister to start reading this series so that we can discuss them.

Rhea (rh3a) | 21 comments Hi, I'm Rhea, 26, from Bulgaria.
I love Kelley's books.
I love the Otherworld series. Except for Dime Store Magic, Industrial Magic and Haunted. Definitely the narrator's fault! I'm going to give them second chance soon.
I've read Tales of the Otherworld, Men of the Otherworld and most of the other stories.
I've read the Darkest Powers series as well. It was amazing! I can't wait for The Gathering!

Claire (Cem) (cem214) | 4 comments Hey all, I'm Claire. I'm 22 and live in the UK. I first read Bitten...I forget how many years ago. A little before Haunted was released I think. It was the first UF book I read and it's still one of my favourites now. I adore Kelley's Otherworld series, with Elena and Savannah being my favourite narrators. I also like her Darkest Powers series, and I love her Nadia Stafford books! I really hope there's s third one to them added at some point because I need more of them! lol

message 79: by Mariya (new)

Mariya (cr6zym0nkeyiz) | 3 comments Hi, I'm Mariya.
I had read the Darkest Powers, well the first book, but didn't like it that much, may continue with it at another time and see if it gets better, but I am starting her Otherworld Series. I started Bitten and I am liking it so far. I haven't come into that many werewolve/shifter books that I actually love except kate daniels & mercy thompson, but I hope to love this one just as much.

message 80: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi Mariya!

message 81: by Wendy (new)

Wendy Hi all! I'm Wendy and I am just starting the women of the other world series, after devouring darkest powers.

message 82: by Candice (new)

Candice (candicerymer) I was hoping there would be more books written on the The Darkest Powers but I read that will be all for awhile. But the spinoff is The Gathering I think....ah I can't wait...hehehehe

KateBethanReads | 1 comments Hi everyone. I love anything writen by Kelley Armstrong. If im reading something else when one of her books come out i drop everything to read hers. Gutted i missed angelic. got the auido book but its not the same as a book book.

Chelly (teamderek13) | 12 comments Frankie wrote: "i've been looking for new books'/ authors for ages when i came across kelley armstrong. and then she was recommended.

i know you may be bias, but should i start reading here books?"

YES!! You should!!

Hi, I'm Chelsea. I have read all the Darkest Powers books (and the Gathering) and the Otherworld Series and Anthologies...and if I don't seem obsessed enough yet, I've also read all of the online e-serials.

Anyway, I'm new and excited to be part of this group :)

message 86: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey guys, glad to have you join us!

message 87: by Sophia (new)

Sophia Chang (thesophiachang) I was intrigued with the idea of a female werewolf for once, so I got Bitten on audiobook. I liked the narrator but I think Kelley Armstrong is better read in book form. Stolen was hilarious and page-turning and I'm in the later-middle of Dime-Store Magic right now. I'm hooked for sure!

message 88: by Tina ♥ Bookaholic (last edited Feb 22, 2011 11:39PM) (new)

Tina ♥ Bookaholic (martinabookaholic) Hy everyone, my name ist Martina (short Tina), I'm 26 years old and I'm from Austria. I've just finished the "Darkest Power" series, and I'm soo unhappy that its over... :(
I loved Chloe and Derek (though I don't like the name *lol*), but the characters where great. And I really hope the fans are right and Armstrong is going to write more books about Chloe and the others.
So far I haven't read any other book from Armstrong, but I'll in the future. Hopefully a book where the romance is going on a little bit more ;)

Tina ♥ Bookaholic (martinabookaholic) so, any suggestions what I should read - though I'm still totally in the story of chloe & derek and I've the feeliing this won't change in the next days... :(
miss them, miss him :D

Tina ♥ Bookaholic (martinabookaholic) hey, thank you, I'm going to check them out. Maybe I'll find some stories with a great romance in it. :)
Are they YA or also just adults one (you know, with more nasty scenes *lol*)
thanks

Tina ♥ Bookaholic (martinabookaholic) he - I see we both have the same taste: I've already add

Black Dagger Brotherhood series
Fever series
Night Huntress series

to my to-read list!
So I guess I found some new great books - so now I've to search for the time to read :D

so thanks :)

message 92: by Crystal (new)

Crystal | 4 comments Hello Everyone! I'm so gald there is a Kelley Armstrong group :)
I'm Crystal and I'm a mother of two wonderful kids and I love all of Kelley's books! I found her first book Bitten almost ten years ago now, when I was in high school going through some rough times. I so gald her books are getting so popular now, it makes so much easier to find them and find wonderful people to share and talk about them with.

message 93: by Jasja (new)

Jasja Hello all! I'm so glad to have found people who also love Kelley Armstrong's books (so far I have been nowhere near succesful enough trying to get my friends to read them so I can talk about the books). I'm Jasja (38 years young, even younger at heart, born and raised in Amsterdam and besides reading I love my horses, travelling and spending time with my loved ones) and I first got hooked on Kelley's books when a friend gave me Bitten to read (don't think she read it herself...lol). I have to admit that I've only gotten around to reading Bitten, Stolen, Broken, Dime Store Magic and Industrial Magic so far, but hey... that just means I have lots to look forward to still =oD .

Hi, I'm Ginny and I've only read The Summoning (wasn't that impressed at first), The Awakening (loved it!!) and Bitten (only one word... WOW) but the others are all on the way... can't wait to read them :D

message 98: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Kelly | 1 comments Hi all! I'm Michelle, a mom of two boys and just started reading again (a lot)about a year ago and credit it to Kelley Armstrong. I fell in love with Bitten and tore through the rest of the series as soon as I got my hands on the books. I also love the darkest powers trilogy. I am sad to hear she is putting the otherworld series on hiatus after the conclusion of Savannah's trilogy but I am sure I will love whatever else she writes!

message 99: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi Ginny, Michelle and Elomari!
@ Elomari. The Darkest powers series is pretty good if your into YA.
