Sundance calmed down, but wasn't off-guard. She wasn't yet sure if she could trust these girls. "Sundance. Where are you headed?" She asked nonchalantly. She didn't encounter conversations often, so she didn't know what to say when they did happen.

"Anywhere away from Dawn..." Luna said, shrugging. "As far as we can go." she added.

"Dawn?" Sundance asked.

[cecilia]

"An obnoxious little thing that happens to exist at the wrong time." Luna rolled her eyes. "My sister." she clarified.

[abbey ❀]

"Hey, at least you have a sister and know you have at least one family member. That's a rarity for us." Sundance said, gesturing to Luna's wings.

[Maddy]

Rylie watched and waited for Sundance's reaction. If she didn't react well to this, she was going to have a hard time comprehending the whole killing each other thing

"I'd prefer not to know my sister." Luna said darkly. "She's a--I'll hold my tongue, but you know what I mean."

[Maddy]

Rylie smiled faintly

What did she mean? An eraser? Sundance figured Luna didn't want to talk about it and thought it best not to pry right at this moment. She was definitely going to try for answers later. "Oh. I get it." Sundance lied.

"Amother term for jerk." Luna explained. "A word which I will refrain from saying."

"Oh!" Sundance said, surprised. "I though you were going to say she was an eraser!" She giggled.

Luna rolled her eyes. "She's worse than an eraser."

Sundance smiled. "Sibling rivalry?"

"Something like that." Luna said darkly.

"Do you guys have any food? I'm starving." Sundance asked. Her stomach was rumbling.

[cecilia]

Luna shook her head. "Were working on that actually."

[Maddy]

Well then what are we waiting for Rylie thought to Luna and smiled. Lets go, she said

Luna frowned. "I'm Luna." She said simply. "The leader." Despite what people thought, she was a good leader. Just had some dark intention for her sister.

Harvest twirled and flipped in the air, thankful to be out of her stuffy dog cage. She had escaped only a few months before, but she hadn't traveled too much. Or flew, for that matter. She smiled as the wind and her wings carried her into the clouds.

[Maddy]

Rylie flew up, releasing her wings in satisfaction. They still hadn't gotten something to eat, so she was still hungry.

Luna sighed softly, glancing at Rylie. "Dawn is down for the count. Looks like she's recruited our little sister to her side... Mmm..." She frowned. Jacob was awake, what did that mean for them? She shook her head. "Lets get that food."

[Maddy]

Rylie nodded. About time, she grumbled. She hasn't eaten since escaping. Flying along side Luna, she ignored the other two members of the flock. Sometimes she would question herself why she was here, she would be much better off on her own

Rylie didnt even look back to see if the other flock people were following. It's not like it affected her either way, and she honestly didnt care either way. They weren't her responsibility, nor would she risk her life for them. The less people around would be better if she had to admit, which she would if she had to. Now, the only thing on her mind was to get something to eat.

Rylie would have groaned if she could, but instead she only exhaled in annoyance. Why did she stick around these people? Most of them seemed to be weak, thus only slowing her down. The last thing she wanted was to be caught and brought back to the school because of these people. She knew one thing for sure, she wasn't becoming responsible for any of them if something happened.

Charity sighed happily as the sun set. She relaxed her muscles and allowed her wings to stretch out to their full 15 foot expanse. It felt good to stretch her aching muscles.
She had been on her own for a while, a month or two at most, and had been hiding out in a small town on the outskirts of Chyenne, Wyoming.

Charity took a running leap of the roof, flapping her delicate and strong wings a few times to get her up into the air. She laughed with delight as she soared higher and higher. She didn't get to fly often, but when she did, she took advantage of it. Even at this late hour after dusk, with the frigid chill in the air, Charity still felt as if she was in a tropical paradise as she glided in arches and circles on the winds.

Charity felt a surge of boldness surge through her and she flapped her wings to take her higher. Suddenly a dark shape zipped past her. Startled, she flailed her arms and started to fall back to the earth. She was quick about her wits and spun in a tight circle, her wings wrapped around her. As she neared the ground she spread her wings out partially, enough to give her a good lift before taking off into the sky once more. Spreading out her wings and getting in a few good flaps to be at a decent height; she turned to look for whatever it was that she had run into. Guilt built up in her gut as she thought of the possibility that she might have hurt an innocent bird that had been passing through.

Charity stared, dumbfounded. She couldn't be sure it was real. 'There are others....' She thought.
Fear overtook her for a split second and she turned and flew off. She stood on her roof, folding in her wings. She looked up to the sky, sure that she had only been imagining things.

Charity's face flushed and she backed away from the other girl. She shook her head slightly.

Charity shrugged and shifted her weight from one foot to the other as she stared at the tiles of the roof to her rundown domain.

Charity swallowed back a large lump in her throat. "Uhh... I-I'm C-Charity...." She mumbled under her breath. Her orange/strawberry mixed hair blocked her vision even as she glanced up through her eyelashes. "I-It's nice t-to meet you ma'am..."

Charity nodded vigourously. "I-I'm so s-sorry! It'll never happen again! I promise!" She said, backing up, afraid of her taking her anger out on her. She had open her wings a bit as her anxiety rose and as she teetered off of the roof. He wings spread in her panic and she twirled, catching the wind and being able to stumble somewhat gracefully onto her feet on the ground.

Rylie saw the one girl fly off in one direction out of the corner of her eye. Did she finally have enough? Was she bored, or had she seen something? She turned her head and followed to where Faye had sped off to, and she was slightly surprised to see another mutants with wings. Though, she couldn't say she was exactly thrilled about it.

Charity shrugged her shoulders. "I-I've always been a b-bit shy..." She muttered quietly as she anxiously scratched at her wrists, a nervous habit.

Charity took in a sharp breath. "You.... You've been to the school??" She asked in a hushed whisper.

"I..." She paused, a haunted look crossing over her features. "I didn't know there was anyone else... I thought I was all alone..."

Charity stared in awe at her wings. They were the most beautiful set of wings she'd ever seen. "Wow..." She breathed.

"That's so cool!" Charity said, running up to her and circiling her, studying Faye's wings. "How do you do that?"

"That's amazing!" Charity breathed. She moved her hand to touch one of Faye's wings, but stopped. She smiled shyly and pulled her hand back to her. "And that's probably not a good idea..."
