For some reason I thought ben was the one who had been shooting Cassie under the car before. But now I realize that didn't make sense bc he was on base or whatever.

I really hate that they are using kids as soldiers...in some ways desensitizing them to the horrors around them is a good thing but most of them are just kids. They shouldn't be so mechanical. Especially Teacup

I hate that the little kids are being used as soldiers as well, but I can totally see it happening.

OMG this was a real surprise, I kinda thought something along the lines would happen because of the whole Vosch thing at the start and I can't see normal humans, good humans at that, would just eliminate a whole camp of humans and then try and kill Cassie, so I knew something wasn't right with the "camp". I didn't think it would be to this extent though, loving this book, such surprising elements :D
