Hi, I'm here to share my new ebook with you all and hope a few of you may like to review. Although not a SF or YA novel, it certainly comes under the 'inspirational' catagory. I'm pleased to say that those who have read it say they have been rather inspired by the theme and content. The Watchman by Matt Langford http://amzn.to/12Z1SsB is a literary ficiton/family life tale of some 73k words aimed primarily at the over 30s age bracket.
The Watchman tells the story of Adam, a young man with a learning difficulty, as he comes to terms with the breakup of his family. Told in Adam's own words we follow the Olsen's as they move house, grow up and move away. Unable to comprehend the changing dynamics of his enclosed world, Adam succumbs to an inner rage and suffers an emotional breakdown which destroys his life.
The Watchman is based on my own childhood experiences - my brother had a severe learning difficulty and the novel is an attempt to understand his view of the world.
