Listen, I love chicklit. It's true. I still read Bridget Jones' Diary and Sex and the City. But lately, it's changed. I couldn't pick up a chicklit book for years because it was all about how to get a husband in one year or less.
Basically, books about women, for women and by women had become the most narrow-minded, masogynistic books out there.
So I wrote my own, which i feel, reflects the women around me. Get a life, get yourself back - and then deal with the rest. And laugh while you do it.
I picked the title because so often, women especially, have their lives set out before them, either by someone else or the minxy impish voice we all carry in our heads. And sometimes, when life goes haywire, and things look like they are messing up -- forcing us to take a path we would never have considered otherwise -- its the best thign that could have ever happened.
I wrote my book "Disappearance" because it has been a dream of mine to have my thoughts in print and share my words with the world. And to have my readers feel like they are on the journey along with the characters in my book. And my book Disappearance is full of suspense and intrigue and will grab and keep your attention from begining to end.
