The Homework Machine

I had to read this book for a school project, and I must say it is an amazing book! I love this book because it's based on kids my age, and I love to read about kids my age. Dan Gutman tells a story about a new boy in the class. But he has a secret, and everybody wants to know what it is. Once the kids get to know the new strange boy, the strange boy tells him his secret. He has a machine that when you put your homework in, the machine does it for you! Once the secrets out, they can't deny it. All the kids use the machine. The strange boy gives one of his friends the machine to use. But the light doesn't go out when he unplugs it. When the computer comes to life, the kids are astonished! They decide to through it in the Grand Canyon. Boom! The evil machine crashes to the bottom and crumbles! The kids are relieved until some hikers find the smashed machine. Then they get in trouble with the police for littering in the canyon. The police let them go and the kids learn that cheating is never the answer.
