Allison | 269 comments When I read two books at the same time, usually one is for a class I'm in and the other is just for fun. I used to read 5 books at a time but stopped when I realized I never really ended up finishing any of them.

Kristie | 5929 comments That's what I'm running into now. I used to only read one book (plus school books) at a time. Then I started adding an audio book in, which was fine. Then, I started adding multiple books because of different BOM and buddy read obligations. But it takes so much longer to finish reading books when you have several of them going that something always get pushed aside. I found that I wasn't finishing many books that way. My current goal is to wrap up some of the books that I have already started, then keep it down to maybe 3 books at a time (with one being an audio book in my car).

♥♡¢σσкιє♥♡ (Krystle) (kookiekrysp88) When I first started reading, I never read more than one book at a time because it was too distracting, but I also rarely got bored while I was reading. Once I started read books that lost my interest, I began reading more than one book at a time.

HUGE MISTAKE! That was the worse reading habit that I could have ever picked up because I wasn't finishing anything, and after a while,I'd just get frustrated. Now, I've gone back to finishing one book before starting a new one, and It's working out great!:D

Melek (chaissar) Personally, I don't like reading more than two, maybe three books in some conditions. Well, now I have four books in my Currently Reading shelf and I choose to read any book but them. Why?

One of the books is boring, I couldn't even get through the chapter 3.
One is the 4th book of a series which I didn't read the 3rd.
Another is the 3rd book that mentioned above but it's an e-book in .pdf format and I didn't like the design of the pages. I'm serious, I do this thing, even though I love the series.
The last one is... I don't know. I guess I just didn't want to read it right now.
The 5th one is not in my currently reading shelf. Also the 6th or 7th which I don't even remember which one was that.

This is funny for me. Nowadays I'm like a child who could not choose which toy to play with. I should choose one and not read anything until I finish that.

Edit: I put all four to my to-read shelf, now I am a happy girl.

Robyn I read multiple books so they can last longer than a week or two

Tracey | 90 comments I really can only read one book at a time, but I'll sprinkle in some short stories that I can begin and end in a day for some variety.
