Jack (Reader Reborn) (readerreborn) So I figure if we're serious about this we should probably start thinking about the next book and when we'll read it. Is like one book a month too much? Too little?

It depends on the book. I don't have any suggestions at the moment.

When I checked this post this morning, all that I saw was an ellipsis. I thought you were intimating that I wasn't being very helpful, lol.

Jacob Rhyne Inferno by Dan Brown?

message 6: by Adri (new)

Adri | 57 comments Mod
Does it follow the other 2? Because I haven't read them.

message 7: by Jacob (new)

Jacob Rhyne Yes it is part of the Robert Langdon series.

message 8: by Jack (new)

Jack (Reader Reborn) (readerreborn) I think we should stay away from the Dan Browns, James Pattersons, etc.

The Hollow City by Dan Wells

Jack, I'm fine with Nation. I'll have to check out The Hollow City a bit more, though. I'd also be interested in a classic that none of us have read. Maybe a Mark Twain? Or Alice's Adventures in Wonderland? And, well, there are a lot if classics that I haven't read yet.

message 10: by Jack (new)

Jack (Reader Reborn) (readerreborn) I'd be okay with reading a classic, too, though I've read most of Twain and Alice already... I'm also thinking that we should maybe spread our reading time out a bit more. 50 pages is easy on a normal day, but some days I just don't have time to read sadly and I don't want to get behind.

It was your idea to read 50 pages a day. I think all of us are fine with a different pace. If we read 1 book a month, then I'd still like to divide it up into sections per week. Otherwise, I'll have the entire book read in a few days and will be bugging the rest of you about how far you are and also trying not to spoil anything.

Sydney (sydrensha) Frost moon - dakota frost. Part of a (so far) 2 book series that I would by no means mind rereading

message 13: by Jack (new)

Jack (Reader Reborn) (readerreborn) Yeah! Something like that sounds good. For a book this size, I think 2 weeks would be the perfect amount of time, though I'm having trouble stopping at 50 pages already so limit caps would probably be a good thing.

Jack, I believe it's this one: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/76...

Frost Moon (Skindancer, #1) by Anthony Francis

message 17: by Jacob (new)

Jacob Rhyne If it is the one at the posted URL I'm intrigued.

And here is another book by Brandon Sanderson.

Elantris by Brandon Sanderson

message 19: by Krystal (new)

Krystal Frost moon looks interesting...but Im pretty up to read anything, not to picky

message 20: by Jack (new)

Jack (Reader Reborn) (readerreborn) So looks like Nation is the winner. :)

Should we plan to start reading 6/2 or 6/9?

message 21: by Sydney (new)

Sydney (sydrensha) It is the one in the url. The skindancer series.

I'm cool with the 2nd as long as we get the books by then.

message 23: by Jack (new)

Jack (Reader Reborn) (readerreborn) Good point. We'll just set the start date once we get the books in.

Gaiman's new book would make a good pick, too.
