What is the significance of this phrase?



Basically "I would do that/this for you a thousand times over." Such hyperbole is common in Middle Eastern expressions. It's meant really earnestly though.


I am for what Michael has written. However, I must add that besides the literal meaning, it also conveys friendship & love: this is fact that for your friend you are ready to do anything 'a thousand times over...'


On of those wonderful lines which compelled tears to rush out from my eyes..<3
