ok i love the movie and when i found out it was a book i thought hmm maybe i should read it...have any of you read the book? did u love it? did you hate it? is it anything like the movie? will i like it or should i not even try reading it? the one thing i hate is when i find a movie i really like then finding out its based on a book then going and reading that book then hating the book lol please help!!

I've read it and yes it is well worth the read! You get more details and it has it's own sort of atmosphere. The book and the movie stand apart in many ways. I will warn you Gilbert is a bit less endearing in the book.
