Lisa A slug is a counterfeit coin that is used to make illegal purchases from a coin-operated device, such as a vending machine, payphone, parking meter, transit farebox, copy machine, coin laundry, gaming machine, or arcade game.[1] By resembling various features of a genuine coin, including the weight, size, and shape, a slug is designed to trick the machine into accepting it like a real coin.

That was when they were kid and kids are Kids

Sushant Danekar Even though Author dominated the big community of Salaried people all over the globe, I think it is a part of giving readers inspiration to broaden their views for money matters. Practically no one will be ready to stop employment and recurring incoming :) !

And Yes this book definitely change your view for your own money !

Srinivasan Nagobarao Nickel is the old terminology used to mention $,rupee, money etc.,
Lead being a metal which melts in low temperature, kids melt it, they prepare a mold and pour the lead to form the coin. Money has to be produced by Government only, if its done by individual its illegal/counterfeit.

Sushant Danekar Yeah We all know that is illegal and We all know who should produce the Money? Do you think, Author don't know about this ?
He was telling tale when they were kid. I don't think nobody will get motivated to produce such money because of this book ? its just a part of story. The Major message here is.. Kids were started acting on their goals but with wrong path. Author wanted to inform us that how stupid things they did in childhood..

Ann Barlow I liked this book. The message I got was, look don't squander your money or live beyond your means. It's possible for anyone to make money.

Sushant Danekar yeah. If that is understood everything other can be ignored..
