BBC Top 100 Books - how many have you read?

Philip Pullman is an amazing writer. I enjoyed both the film "Amber Spyglass, and I saw it at Leicester Curve Theatre using puppets, absolutely stunning.

Sadly I am unable to keep physical copies of books and had to pass my copies on to Age Concern bookshop, so I am very jealous. I secretly would like to have an alethiometer, but I do have a daemon called Ella (my black cat) who follows me everywhere!

I've read 9. So... looking at the other answers I really need to get cracking! But then again, I'm 27-y-o, so maybe I'm not _that_ behind?

I've only read 11 so far! I got a good chuckle seeing The Twits on the list! I remember reading that when I was 5 or 6 years younger.

This list makes me want to delve a little deeper in the classics, and from reading some of the previous comments, Oliver Twist sounds like a good pick! Although, it is very tempting to run out and grab a copy of The Godfather. A girl's gotta get her action fix, right ladies? ;]

I'm slowly making my way through them...I'm up to 20 from this list now. I keep track of the full top 200 list on my blog and I've read a few more if you include that.
