I love the twilight series and Harry potter
I really loved the Blind Side! I'm a big sports fan and I love inspirational stories, so I think the Blind Side combined both of those for me in a perfect way.-Nihar

VAMPIRE ACADEMY AND THE FIRST DIVERGENT
The Hunger Games, Twilight, and Harry Potter were all almost perfect from book to movie.
I loved Divergent! Great start to the series but then Insurgent and Allegiant just went down hill which was a shame being as divergent took off with (mostly) good reviews! The perks of being a wallflower was not only a good book but a good movie too!
^ I agree. Insurgent and Allegiant were bad movies but good books.
Pride and Prejudice (2005). I love this movie. It's my absolute favorite.

Harry Potter!! The movies are awesome and totally follow the books!!!
Harry Potter is an obvious choice, although they did leave out a lot of characters, like Peeves. DYK that Order of the Phoenix while being the largest book in the series, was the shortest movie.
I can't wait to see "It" by Stephen King. It's coming this September. (Haha :D)

Definitely Jurassic Park (my favourite film) and How to Train Your Dragon
The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Twilight. I thought The Mortal Instruments was a good adaptation, but nobody else thought so apparently.
"Going Postal" by Terry Pratchett was the best. Very well chosen actors for a story that was wonderful to begin with.
DEFINITELY "Coraline". The movie did way more with the world than the book cared to expand on, oddly enough.

Forrest Gump. It's my favorite movie of all time that was based on a book, but I haven't read the book yet
Pride and Prejudice was good (A+ for Mr Darcy) and the Harry Potter world was probably the best by far
Perks of being a wallflower is my absolute favorite movie!!! I actually preferred it to the book but the book is also great

I think it'll be Pride and Prejudice (both versions). Harry Potter movies were just fine. Actually, now I think about it, I haven't seen many movies based on books! It is now my priority.
