message 201: by Anna Serene (new)

Anna Serene (anna_serene) Gone Girl was really really good, obviously the Lord of the Rings, V for Vendetta, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (the David Fincher one), and the Dune miniseries by Syfy was surprisingly good. However, Ender's Game the movie was horrible. I hated it. It is just about my favorite book of all time and they RUINED it! How is it possible that you cast Bonzo as someone SMALLER than Ender? It doesn't make any sense and I hate it. Someday I will rectify that situation. Somehow.

Sharon I didn't have one, but now I recently realized it's How I Live Now (book by Meg Rosoff) best movie ever I swear

message 204: by Lynne (new)

Lynne Stringer | 137 comments I thought they did a good job with the Twilight movies, considering how massive and involved the books were. I also thought the Hunger Games movies have been better than the books. I liked the movie of Austenland better than the book as well.

Radhbu | 2 comments They did a great job on tfios. I loved how they made every scene of the book, and only took out 2, which they put as deleted scenes.

message 240: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (notinberlin) Of course I loved Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter movies, but I also loved Divergent. I personally think that Divergent was very well made and the soundtrack was beautiful. Huge potential. But Insurgent and Allegiant... let's not talk about that. Also, The Hunger Games movies were very well done I think. I even liked Twilight. Yes, the movies were cingeworthy at times, but anyway, I have a special place in my heart for Twilight, so I enjoyed the movies!

message 246: by Emily (new)

Emily Vanmiddendorp The Hunger Games!!!

message 247: by Emily (new)

Emily Allen (emilywrites_) | 140 comments Harry Potter definitely. I saw the movies before reading the books(not beginning after the last one came out but by I started reading them in around 2007-08 and by the time I had gotten to each book the movie already came out) so I wasn't really biased watching them and I'm still not.

Like my favorite movie in the series is the third one, even though everyone says it's the worst but it's just always been my favorite haha
