Most of them, my favourite of which is the Percy Jackson series because well its about Greek myths. I also love Divergent, Mortal instruments and The Infernal Devices-especially the last one even though it broke me

OMG I am so sorry but seriously though it is the best ending that anybody could possibly hope for

Anyway, my name is Wade, I am 48 and from the US. I absolutely LOVE classic Sci-Fi (Wells, Burroughs, Verne) as well as the "Classics" such as Mark Twain, Jack London, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Actually, I enjoy just about every genre except for Romance and Hard Sci-Fi.
I hope to get to know everyone here and happy reading!

Avid fantasy and sci-fi reader, though I have dipped into other genres from time to time. Right now, I'm plowing through my list of books, but am always on the lookout for new authors/books to read.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know everyone a bit better over time.

My plans for 2015 are as follows:
1.Participate in the Rory Gilmore Book Challenge (A list of 339 books)
2.Read 120 books
3.Check out as many books as possible from the local public library
4.Continue teaching my kids the joy of reading
For those that are not aware, the Rory Gilmore Book Challenge comes from the TV show Gilmore Girls. The list includes a wide variety of book genres: fiction, non-fiction, classics, poetry and YA. My biggest reason for participating in this challenge is to expose myself to different authors/genres and to become more widely read.
Wish me luck and Happy Reading!

I am happy to welcome you Nicole! I checked out the R.G.Book List and am happy to report that I have read 12 off the list. I might join you on this quest, it will depend on what my in-person Book Club decides to read. Thanks for drawing attention to this list!

I read books and mangas too, I'm very open-minded and I enjoy suffering for fictional characters (haha no).
I like everything but my favourite genres are: children's, fantasy, fiction, comedy, adventure, action, magical, drama and romance.
I hope to read more from now on!
And I hope we can be friends
PS: My english is not so good I'm sorry.

I love to read anything that will hold my interest, but lately I have been reading womens & historic fiction. I have also been reading some poetry and non-fiction, which is outside of my comfort zone.
In addition to reading, I love to go fresh-salt water fishing, antiquing and day tripping w BF. I have also recently taken up knitting - RA runs on my mothers side of the family and it was suggested to me to do something to keep my hands active.
Looking forward to chatting with you.

I would like to invite you to visit my blog where I review books. Hope you will enjoy the reading.
