that looks okay - you can somewhat see through it - like a bicycle wheel, it doesn't have to be completely empty in the middle.

The only circle I see is in the lettering - the "o" substitute. That won't work, but if there's something else I'm not seeing, please point it out.

I'm really glad you posted. When GR was acting so weird the other day, a lot of posts were not showing up, then showed up later - after I saw this post, I realized that there were a whole group of posts that didn't show up when I was answering but then apparently showed up later.

You're welcome. I knew it was not like you to skip so many. Now I understand why.

And, thanks for the approval. For someone not planning on taking part next season, I am finding it hard not to plan!

I saw it as a burnt tablecloth that when picked up would be a see through circle, albeit not a 'perfect' circle.

I will keep looking if not! Thank you for the reply :)

no, that's fine - I wrote the task to say "round/oval" because I didn't want to have an issue about things being a perfect circle!

sorry, no - letters cannot be used for the circle and numbers are really the same thing. I'll amend the task description to make this completely clear.

It's not supposed to be a mirror; there's no mirror in the story. The supporting characters are cast in a bronze ring and through it you see the main character.

Just FYI, Peebee, I'm using Raven Girl for 10.10 — Blister in the Sun for the word "girl" in a song title.

message 97: by Peebee (new)

Peebee | 481 comments I didn't think you could use it for anything but a 5-point task, as it has 80 pages. 5.4 is the only one that it will conceivably work for, as far as I can tell.

Oh, phooey, yes you are right. I just went back to check the rules. I was thinking 80 pages worked for 5 & 10 point tasks. Darn!
