Need to combine these books - problems finding in list

The following 2 should be combined, but when I go to the combine page, I am unable to find the 1st one using the search function.

The same thing seems to happen with:

which should be combined with:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/19...

If the author is the same on both editions and
If editions cannot be found or go over a couple of pages, easiest thing to do is add a word (i.e. merge) or initials (I use PJA) to the end of each books title, filter on word/initials , combine editions, then removed the word/initals from the title

ah, good idea - I thought I had tried everything with search but couldn't even get them to come up under 'Chinese' -- really weird I thought
