Hmm..I don't think I've heard of this book...could you elaborate a little? I'll look up the book right now~!I'll think of some ideas to throw around as well!

The mermaids are mysterious creatures of beauty and youth. They are said to ride the waves as the beautiful sisters of the sea. Any man that can capture one can be forever blessed with riches and good fortune. Only mere stories have been whispered of the mermaids never has anyone been able to catch one alive. Capturing one is nearly impossible and some say it cannot be done. But it dosen't stop people from trying as they think of all the riches and fame they could receive. So I guess it could really be about a guy who's obsessed over capturing a mermaid for so long its become his only priority though he has been called insane numerous times. I think this could be fun we could throw some plot twists in here and what not. And we could really get creative on what he plans to do! ^.^ I thought it would be kinda cool..

Hey Maddie! Sorry for the long wait for my response! I went to the movies and it ended all the way to 2 PM..so I couldn't respond. ^.^Sounds pretty cool~! I like it~! You sure you don't want to do the mermaid thing?

So I guess the first character we have could have already been at the facility for a while and second character will be new to it all.Purpose:Well there goal could be to make the perfect solider to a point were they only want to desperately for fill their mission. And their feelings of pain and moral rights can be dulled and blurred. We can work on another motive..OH! OH! I kinda have an idea that's just forming! As they are changing them they are also altering their DNA and other features. They can just be 'extra parts' and there motives could be to harvest the kids altered DNA to use and such. So as they perfect their bodies they will in the end harvest them so they can use their enhanced genes and organs for their other older soldiers. So the kids could kind of be like a living storage bank as they perfect them so they can use them for bigger plans.
((Hopefully that made sense..I think it would make it a lot more sinister))
Why the teens were there:
They can make them think that their parents wanted them to join and they can show them a fake contract signing them away to the facility with their guardians signature and everything. This will make them believe they were unwanted since their parents just signed them away like that. So they will believe their only family is the facility and they have to trust them now..
That's just my ideas..we can brainstorm and work off of each other! :D Hopefully you kinda like!

Personality/History:"Oh, Little Noelle Wilkner." Those were words that were spoken often around this petite blonde while growing up, showered with praise and love about how talented she was with everything she did, and steered in the direction that would surely give her success in her future. Noelle never had any problems with this, in fact, she loved the guidance that her parents gave her, seeing it as an easy way to get to the fairytale life they had engraved into her mind ever since she was a little child. Stories about going on adventures, finding true love, fighting the evil villains, and then getting your happily ever after. Noelle practically grew up with stars in her eyes, imagining everything she could do with her life once she finished school and was finally out on her own. She was brewing with passion, with imagination, so much so that she was constantly getting into trouble with her teachers in school for daydreaming so often. It was hard to keep her attention on one thing for too long though before those bright blue eyes began to glaze over with vivid thoughts and from that point - there was truly no reason in trying to keep her focused.
Despite her habit of daydreaming though, Noelle was always a hard worker. Homework done the day it was given and grades coming in at extraordinary percentages; she had her life set out for her. The path her parents had developed for her was paved and ready to be taken. Absolutely nothing could have brought her down… but what a lie that had been. Just when Noelle’s life was reaching it’s peak it plummeted to the very bottom in a way that even she couldn't comprehend at first. It had been an ordinary Saturday evening for her on that day. February 23rd. It was the day that would forever be labeled as the day her world crumbled to pieces and spread so far from her reach that there was absolutely no way of retaining them and putting them together again. It was the day her parents sat her down at the kitchen table and explained that they were getting a divorce.
All the sudden, the fairytale Noelle had been living in suddenly seemed more like a bad joke. How could the very people who told her about happy endings and prince charming fall out of love? The ones who always told her to keep her head up and never give up. Watching as they grew colder and more distant towards one another, she couldn’t help but become bitter at the sheer hypocrisy of it all. Never give up? Isn't that exactly what they were doing now? It didn't take long for Noelle to begin to let her grades slip, her dedication to her classes and school work dwindling to just about nothing, much to her parents dismay. In hopes of fixing the problem they had given her, Noelle unwillingly moved to Silvercrest with her mother to live under her grandmother’s roof and enroll into Silvercrest High School. She was more than aware that this was a lame attempt at getting her grades back up - at getting her back to who she was before they smashed through her wonderland. As if a change of scenery could melt away all the negativity she had shrouded herself in. So of course, instead of heading to her mother’s wishes, she grew more distant and uncaring. Her sweet words turning to snark and her attitude taking a turn towards uncaring. Noelle Wilkner from Boston was no more - and she had no intentions of ever becoming her again.
