only one person awkened her and her brothers powers
In the fiction book "Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins, the protagonist named Katniss Everdeen is very similar to another character named Jackson from the movie "2012" directed by Roland Emmerich. In the "Hunger Games" book, it is about a live TV that shows a fight of teenagers until their death. There were twelve districts and two kids from each district go to the Capitol to fight until their death. As a girl was picked from district twelve, it happened usually to be Katniss's sister. Katniss volunteered to save her girl and danger ended up on her. Katniss has prepared and is now in the arena, where death occurs. She saw one by one people go and dealing with the ones staying. Recently, Katniss got passed out and found this little girl named Rue. They worked together by the combination of their traditional skills. Overall, Katniss was caring for Rue and trying to keep her alive for the last. Katniss had risked her life to save Rue. This action is similar to the character named Jackson from the movie "2012." On page 232-233, Katniss stated, "When I break into the clearing, she's on the ground, hopelessly entangled in a net. She just has time to reach her hand through the mesh and say my name before the spear enters her body. The boy from District 1 dies before he can pull the spear. My arrow drives deeply into the center of his neck." This quote from the book shows how Katniss risked her life to save Rue. Katniss had dived into the life threatening scene to try to save Rue. Katniss didn't do well enough to save a life, but she tried her hardest. Katniss was caring to take this action. This is similar to the character named Jackson from the movie "2012" because Jackson also risked his life to save his entire family. Jackson had drove his car through the dangerous breaking land to just save his family. If Jackson wasn't caring, he would have just took a plane to leave without the family. Katniss and Jackson were both caring people that risked their lives for others.
