Big Library Read

MCPL is participating in a fun global book club-ish program through Overdrive called "Big Library Read". (I call it club-ish because while it encourages everyone to read the same book, there's no specific discussion questions, etc.)

I just finished the book. It was great! I really liked the characters, and the author did a good job of "showing, not saying." His descriptions of the flying and people really made me feel like I was there. I will definitely be reading his other books.

Without spoiling the story for anyone, could you tell me why you are hooked. I am bound and determined to read it because I want to be part of the Big Read. I am 100 pages into it. Tell me what hooked you. I am very interested in your opinion. Thanks!

I think this is a great idea to have an online Big Library Read. I'm recommending it to my customers and book club contacts.
