Difficult reading

LOL The murder and trial are the only interesting parts, to me.
As far as all the characters, yes...they were interesting to a point. There was just too much of that stuff. I don't need to hear about all of that. I live in New Orleans, I know enough eccentric and interesting people to last a lifetime. :)

Keep in mind Kathy, not everybody lives in New Orleans so they may not have the same experiences in people you do! in fact, I am almost certain a majority of people do not! For those of us NOT from there it was fun to read about the colorful people!

even then, I don't live in Savannah, New Orleans etc and I found all the descriptions to just be tedious after a while

My book has disappeared so I've moved on to other reading experiences at this point.......after all, I love the novels of Joyce Carol Oates and plenty of people do not!
