Thanks Tom, I turned 20 in 1984, and I remember all the hype about the new horrible disease. I didn't really know what it was about but then all that happened was so very terrible, even here in always so liberal Sweden. Many of the famous people who had "come out" a few years earlier was hit and everyone was so scared. Terrible! Thank you for a moving and memorable novel. Love it! I'm so sorry for Jim ((hug))

Thank you. Happened many years ago, and when I wrote this story, it all came back. Was incredible. That's why this story means so much to me. I couldn't let anyone else have it.

In a way Paul is real. I wasn't Matthew in many ways - the drag part is my old boss - but my ex Sam is Paul in many ways.

Thank you all girls who BR with me yesterday. It was my first time, a new experience that I am so happy to experience again. Great fun even if the book was very sad. Thought of the story again, as soon as I woke up this morning. I get so angry and sad when I think about all the terrible things that affected them, often young happy men - in particular, but also other people - then in the eighties. It was difficult to write a review that made this small but so rich story real justice.

This is a story that will stay in our hearts forever and that somehow affected all of us. We need to help people that still today are in those situations. I am with you, I just can't get this out of my system :)
