Name: Arthur McOwen
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Current Location: Black Sea
Number/Position: Head Chief (Pirate)
Powers: A whole legion of other fellow Pirates, all chosen with ranks of the elite. Even that may be an understatement.
Appearance: A combination of dark brown and jet black hair in a wild and unruly way. He is well-built, although not overly so. With a height of 6 feet, he stands above most crowds and they’ll have to strain their necks to look at him in the face when they are at an extremely close proximity. Bulging muscles that sometimes highlighted a scar across his shoulder blade, even as he hated it.
Personality: Intelligent and resourceful, although sometimes it's misused for negative reasons. Diamond-headed when it comes to something he strongly supports but if you knew where to poke and pry, you can probably get through him. Lazy at times but when he is very much interested in something, the adrenaline pumping through him to do it will be more than water in the sea and faster than photons in high-speed. Quite sarcastic and humorous, mostly triggered as a defensive system or to try and mock someone. Loves to stay awake as long as possible to just do non-beneficial actions such as toying with his weapons. If not for all the missions, he would have called researching about the apple that they have been searching for years his fourth in his always-do-list. Of course, the first is to breathe; the second to eat; and the third to drink. Adventurous and very curious in anything he is interested in.
History: No one knows his past. Not even the people closest to him. And he planned to keep it that way.
Legacies: All he had from his father was the money they had and a sword that was now used quite often as a short-sword. Besides that, all the rest was his reward from 'hard-work'.
Family: His father, mother and his very annoying younger sister. Emphasis the word "annoying". Although now he lost all connections to them and all he had was Killian and Anderson, his best friends. His father was killed in a raid in their house, his sister kidnapped and his mother dying of some unknown sickness not long later.
Likes: His position and power, sailing, swimming, reading, watching courtesans, mocking people's mistake, music and taking things to the extreme.
Dislikes: People judging him, people mocking him, rules, work, chores and pretty much everything a typical guy would hate.
Others: He, instead of having a parrot, has a falcon. It sometimes come back with a broken wing or leg, presumably attacked by an eagle.

Cool! So, where do we begin and do we have a certain plot? It's in the 27th century right? Modern pirates aren"t that cool
((Err...))
The crew of pirates weren't doing well again. Scarcely with any resources, there were in the middle of nowhere without civilization in miles. For two months! Their men were begining to groan and grumble from he lack of profit, which Arthur was starting to catalog it as annoyance. He stood straight at the front deck as his men started to lower down their fishing nets, folding up their sails just as well. The Optimus Maximus was still in almost brand new shape, with all the wood polished and sails scrubbed to the very detail. The waves were not too large, so their ship's bobs against he waves were hardly noticed.

((I'm hereeeeeee))Maya brushed her hair out of her face, annoyed by the water. It wasn't like she didn't like the sea; she did, it was just that it was annoying when your life was controlled by it. The merpeople adored her... no her ability. She was a healer and she could heal people (duh) but not herself (ugh). That was not handy at all, but the others didn't care about that. She was being forced into an arranged marriage with a guy from the wealthiest family, but he was a total jerk and Maya hated his guts. He was so arrogant it was unreal. She swam up to the surface and took a deep breath of fresh air. It was so nice to be out of the water for a change, but that was not allowed. She couldn't go on land... Maya sighed. Suddenly, movement caught her eyes and they widened when she saw the ship. Humans.... Pirates?
Arthur was standing tall as the wind blew past him, feeding his hawk and himself some peanuts. "Set our anchor here. I see sea gulls dipping in the nearby waters.," he yelled back to his enormous crew. They hadn't seen another ship for almost 3 weeks in a row, hence making desperation for food and resources grow. His men were grumbling and yelling at each other, but Arthur couldn't care less. The only reason why they were still on the ship was because he needed strength and numbers. If not, he'd have thrown them aboard a long time ago.
Maya's eyes were wide as they took in the huge ship that was so close to her... but... should she go near? Her family had forbid her, well, everyone of the mermaid city was forbidden to contact humans. Humans were a foul, disgusting race that needed to be avoided. But Maya was curious and that nature inside of her took over. She slowly, carefully, swam over to the ship. She saw several pirates on the ship and she let her gaze go over them, hoping they wouldn't notice her. She could totally blend in with the sea, her dark hair and blue eyes almost matched the sea water, if it weren't for her pale skin. All mermaids were pale, because they never really saw sunlight. They remained underwater. She glanced up at the ship and saw one pirate who seemed to be in charge. He was... unlike anyone she had ever seen. She wanted to pinch herself for her thoughts, but he was handsome and she didn't want to feel that way. He was a human...
Arthur threw another peanut into his birds mouth, fishing the last of the peanuts and simple throwing the shells inti the sea. It fell, and floated. He wasn't to be disappointed. He saw fishes start to nibble on the shell, and was quite sure they'll be caught in the net. His hawk saw the comotion and just flew down to steal a fish from the sea water.
He wasn't sure what else to do while they waied for 10 minutes before bringing he net back up. He just looked out into the oceans, grinning like a fool who just got a plain plate of noodles after 1 month of starvatian.

Maya watched as the guy throwing something in the sea and it caught her interest. What were they doing here? Out in the open...? It was strange to her... Humans never really came this close to the Underwater City and she was surprised that this ship actually got really close. She slowly made her way towards the ship, in excitement going a little faster. She wanted to move when suddenly she noticed something. She was stuck.
"Oh no," she groaned softly, seeing that her tail was stuck in the last part of the net they had thrown into the sea. "I have to get out of this," she said, trying to stay hidden beneath the waters and get her tail loose, but it only seemed to get constrict more.
"Ahoi! We caught something big! It's ptobably a shark!" Arthur heard one of his men yell.
Turning, Arthur rushed to the side of the ship and looking desperately over the edge. He damn sure hoped it was indeed a shark. His men heaved and pulled, the boat tipping slightly as whatever was in the net fought for freedom. He itched to just take a gun and shoot whatever strong beast was in the net, but he withheld himself as he helped his men pull.

"Shit, crap, goddamn," she cursed, knowing it didn't help. But hey, she couldn't help herself. She glanced up and saw the railing of the ship coming closer and she panicked. She was stuck in the net and she tried to cut it open with one of her knives; but it was no use; it would take too long. "Help!" she screamed, in desperation. Maybe one of the merpeople would hear her and help her. She doubted it though.
