Ever looked over at him and shrugged." I'm not sure," she said.
He looked up, then thought he saw some guys in white coats, much like the ones that were in the facility they escaped. He gently moved Ever to the side, going in the opposite direction, "Lets go this way..." he told her.

Ever at first looked at him questionably, teasing up when he touched her. Then, she noticed why he moved and she tensed up even more and she grabbed his arm, whining and looking away.
He hoped that this won some points with her, for the fact that he was trying to keep her safe. "Let's try to stay as low key as possible."

Ever nodded in agreement, holding onto his arm tighter and moving closer to her. She was really tense now...Why did these people have be wearing white coats? Were they the people who were after them? Was there even anyone after them. Her head started to hurt from all the questions she was asking herself.

((Sweet! Thanks so much!))"Are you ok?" he asked, looking her over. Suddenly he screamed, falling to the ground, shaking. This was a headache, but a million times worse. In little spurts of his vision he could spot the men with the white coats coming towards them, running. He wanted to tell Ever to run, but he couldn't seem to talk.

(( Your welcome (: ))" What, what!?!" Ever questioned Jake, kneeling down next to him. She looked over to the men with white coats as well and screamed as well. She tired to get Jake up, pulling him.
" Jake, get up please!" she said, tears rolling down her cheeks. She did not want to go back to that place.
Jake was of no use at the moment, he continued to cease until he couldn't see anymore. The last thing he saw was a man in a white coat in front of him. ONe of the man scooped Ever up, placing a rag soaked in Chloriform over her nose and mouth so that she would fall asleep.

Ever struggled at first trying to call out for Jake to come and get her or for him to run away." Run!" was the last thing she was able to scream before the rag was put over her mouth and nose. She continued struggling, but she soon passed out a fell limp in the man's arms.
Jake couldn't do much of anything, he finally calmed down but they had already taken hold of him. They were speaking Japanese, so he had no clue what they were saying. They didnt knock him out like they did with Ever, she was in the backseat with two other men. They let Jake sit up front, most likely because they knew him.

Ever was limp and unconscious, breathing steadily.
After a while, they pulled up to a building. Jake recognized the building as the one that they escaped from just days before. "What are we doing here?" Jake asked the men in a panic. They looked at him confused, yet helped him out of the car, carrying Ever inside. "Hey, be careful with her!" he yelled out, as they were being separated.

Ever groaned softly, still unconscious.
Once he could no longer see her, they took him into a room. They were speaking to him, in Japanese. "I don't understand what you are saying..." he told them slowly. "Let Ever go, just keep me..." he told them.They looked at him as if he were crazy and one of the men left the room.

Ever remained unconscious.
The others had placed Ever in a room, with a bed. Allowing her to lie down. There was nothing else in the room except the bed. She would wake soon. The mirrors in the room were two-way. They would be able to observe her when she woke up, yet she wouldn't be able to see them. A man returned to Jake, "Hello." he smiled, his accent heavy but his English profound. "Jake Macintosh..."
Jake stared at him, "How do you know my name?" he asked.
"You work here." the man told him. "We know everything about you..."
"Where's Ever?" Jake asked immediately.
"The girl is fine." he told him. "But we need to figure out why you were gone."

Ever was still unconscious, not waking up yet, but groaning softly.
"Well when I woke up, I was laying on a table with my chest carved up." he told him hastily. "You don't speak Japanese?" the man asked.
"Of course not." Jake replied.
He sighed, shaking his head. "You used to. You spoke perfect Japanese when you got here." he told him.
Jake looked at him confused, "I did?" he asked.
He nodded, "Yes. Which is why we recruited you to work with us..."
Jake looked utterly confused. "What the hell is this place...I dont want to really talk anymore until I can see Ever and know she's ok."
The man nodded, giving one man another look and sending him off.

Ever woke up a few moments later, slowly opening her eyes, then remembering what happened. She gasped and began to hyperventilate, sitting up, but falling back down at soon as she did. Her head hurt and she was dizzy. Tears ran down the side of her face and he bit her lip hard.
A man in a white coat entered the room, grabbing Ever and taking her to a different room. He left her there, more mirrors. "There." the man speaking with Jake pointed.
Jake turned around, seeing Ever. "Ever!" he got out of his chair and practically banged on the window.
"She cannot see or hear you." he told him. "Only you can see her."

Ever fought as she was carried, but she couldn't too much. She then looked around the room, curling up into a ball while tears ran down her face." I just wanna go home....," she sobbed.
Jake frowned, turning to him. "I want to talk to her. Now!" he demanded. "We have more to discuss first." he said.
Jake shook his head. "No! I'm not saying anything until I talk to her. Directly."
He sighed then gave a nod. "Come with me."
He led him out of the room and into a hall, the next door over was where they were holding her. He unlocked it and let him inside. "Five minutes." he told him.
Jake ignored him, stepping inside. "Ever..." he spoke softly.

Ever looked over when the door opened, seeing that it was Jake. Her eyes suddenly went from terrified to extreme anger and she stood up, leaning against the wall for support." You did this! Your the reason that I'm in here again!" she yelled at him, tears coming down her cheeks faster.
"What?" he asked confused. "No...I didn't do anything. They took me too!" he told her. He stepped forward, hoping she would realize he was telling the truth.

" Then why aren't you locked in a room again to huh?! They didn't put you unconscious did they?!" Ever screamed, groaning and holding her head. She was still so dizzy.
"Just calm down..." he told her sincerely. "And no they didn't." he told her. "They are talking to me as if they know me, they tell me that I know Japanese, but I don't...I dont know what the hell is going on." he sighed, stepping towards her again. "Ever, please believe me...I'd never do this to you."

"No!" he yelled, getting pretty frustrated. "I'm not working with them! I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on here! Ever, you can trust me!" he told her.

" I'm not going to trust you Jake! I'm never going to trust you again!" Ever yelled back, sliding down the wall a bit.
"Ever-" he started again, but was interrupted by the gentleman he was speaking with earlier. "Times up." he told him.
"No. Please, I need more time..." he replied.
He shook his head, "The girl is going to be moved. We still need to talk to you."
"Do not hurt her. If I find out you've hurt her in anyway, I'll make sure you regret it." he told him.
The man nodded, as two men came in once again, taking Ever away, practically carrying her.

Ever screamed and thrashed around, trying to kick them. She suddenly got strength back and she was strong than she looked.
They had to grip her pretty hard in order to keep her in line. "Hey!" jake yelled, noticing their force.
"She is fine..." he assured Jake.
Jake sighed heavily and turned to him. "What do you want from us?" he asked.
"Nothing...although you have a job to fulfill, but seeming that you don't remember anything about that, we need to discuss what you do remember." he told him.
"And Ever?" Jake asked.
"We will not touch her." he assured him.

Ever continued to thrash around and kick, screaming at the top of her lunges. She wanted out.
Jake walked with him, hating that sound of Ever screaming. The men placed her in a new room now. Closing the door. This room was set up more like a bedroom. There was a bed, and a desk.

Ever looked over at the door when they closed it, glaring. She stood up and went with her back against the wall, hands on it as she looked around the room. It looked as if they were going to keep her here for a while...not if she had anything to say about it.
"Look, why don't you let Ever go. Obviously you dont need her anymore." he told the man. He sighed, "Jake, we think that there was a mistake with you...you came here on a summer program to work with us. We think that you may have been exposed to a drug that we give our projects..." he explained.
"Projects?" Jake repeated. "You mean people? Like Ever?"
The man nodded, "Y-yes...this drug causes memory loss and erratic headaches...have you expereienced that?"
"God yes, Ever has too." he told him.
"Okay, we need to get you into detox immediately...we could not find you for days..."
"I'm not going anywhere with you. I want you to let Ever go, give her whatever you need to so that she can remember and go home." he demanded.
The man shook his head. He knew Ever and why she was here, it was all about her marriage. "I will see what I can do." he told him.

Ever stayed against the wall, watching the door and looking around the ceiling for cameras.
((Poor thing, so paranoid lol))Jake sat in his chair, although he was fidgety. "Take care of Ever first..." he told him. "Then I'll talk to you."
The man said nothing before he got up and walked away, leaving the room. He walked to the room Ever was held in, unlocking the door and stepping inside.
