HE helped her back onto the bed, caressing her back gently. He laid behind her, stroking her cheek.

Ever leaned against him, her shaking stopping after a bit. She closed her eyes and fell asleep a couple moments later.

He made sure she was asleep, before going into the bathroom, taking off his clothes and stepping into a hot shower.

Ever stayed asleep, curled up in a ball and she snored slightly.

He had been in there for a good thirty minutes, thinking, contemplating, planning their next move. They had a week here and still a bit of money left, which worked well. But it wouldn't last forever, so he'd have to make another decision.

Ever sighed in her sleep, dreaming about Jake for some reason. It made her relaxed though and she smiled slightly.

After a while, he sat in the chair, watching Ever, making sure that she was alright. She seemed to be fine, so he closed his eyes, allowing himself to fall asleep.

Ever slept throughout the night, twitching a couple of times in her sleep.

The sun was shining but, Jake still managed to sleep. It was almost comforting having the warm sun on his face as he bobbed up and down in the chair he fell asleep in. His posture completely uncomfortable.

Ever awoke the next morning, blinking a few times and sitting up. She was a bit sore, probably from her cut, but otherwise, she felt pretty good. She noticed Jake on the chair, blinking sleepily at him a few times.

It was almost like clock work as Jake woke up only moments after her. He yawned loudly, stretched then smiled at her. "Good morning."

Ever blinked at him a few times before smiling back.
" Morning," she replied, moving the blanket around herself more.

"Um...I can go down and see if there's something to eat for us." he told her.

" Okay," she said, yawning slightly and covering her mouth," I'm gonna get into the shower then..I never got to really wash up last night."

He nodded, yawning again and getting out of bed. "I'll be back soon." He walked out the door, headed down to the lobby.

Ever nodded and stood up, going into the bathroom. She took off the hoodie she had been wearing and tuned on the shower, stepping into it.

There wasn't much food. It was mostly donuts and tea. He grabbed as many of the donuts as he could and returned to the room. "Ever, there wasn't much down there..." he called in to her.

Ever heard him come back in.
" Okay...," she replied before beginning to wash her hair.

He placed the food on the small table. He sat down, eating one for himself. He brought the tea up in small paper cups that were provided.

Ever spend another 5 minutes in the shower, washing her hair, face and body. She then got out and dried off, wrapping a towel around herself and peeking out of the bathroom.
" H-hi...," she said to Jake, smiling gently.

He looked over, blushing a bit. "Hey." he grinned. "There's donuts, and some tea..."

Ever smiled and looked down at herself.
" S-sorry...I think I left my clothes in here, so I couldn't change," she replied.

"Oh...do you want them?" he asked, spotting them on the bed.

" S-sure," she replied, going over and getting them before returning to the bathroom. She came out a minute later, fully dressed and looking pretty clean. She took a seat next to Jake and smiled softly.

"I'm sorry, I guess they dont offer much food here." he told her. " But the donuts are pretty good."

" That's okay," she said with a smile, taking one of the chocolate donuts.

"I don't really know what else we should do...." he told her. "When I remembered my name, I had a flash of a woman, who I was pretty sure was my mother...but I don't know where I would find her or anything."

Ever nodded slowly.
" I didn't really know what I was seeing yesterday...There was a boy and a house...None of it made sense," she sighed, taking a bit of the doughnut.

He rubbed his head, "I don't even know what I'm doing in Japan still...there was that crazy memory I had with me on the plane...but...I don't understand."

" We'll figure it out...We have to," she said.

"I was thinking, maybe we can stay in and just kind of see if we can channel anything." he told her, taking another donut.

" Oh uh...okay," she smiled, taking a bit of her donut.

"If you'd rather not, that's fine..." he told her with a shrug. "I'm just...getting frustrated with this whole not knowing what the hell is going on thing." he sighed. "And...I hope you aren't scared of me or anything...with yesterday. You're all I have in this whole thing, and I don't even know what all of it means."

" I'm not scared of you...and that's okay. We can stay in here and try to remember. I just don't want my head to hurt again like yesterday night," she replied, looking down at the floor.

"I understand..." he told her a small smile on his face. "I found that if I lie very still and actually try to think about it, it doesn't hurt..." he told her.

"So...I've come up with this...my name is Jake, obviously." he grinned. "I was supposed to be apart of some program of experimentation. A lady, who I think is my mom was encouraging me for something, and for some reason, I feel very protective of you." he told her.

" I've only managed to remember my name really...," she replied, sighing.

((Okay, and I was leaning towards Jake supposing to be the one conducting experiments, like some sort of program or something, but he realized what they were doing and didn't want to be part of it anymore, so he tried to leave and they "captured" him as well. lol Along those lines at least.))
