Ever looked at him as he talked, then back at the woman, then back at him." Why don't I just...ask her for some clothes? Say the your my brother and we're tourists, we lost our stuff during the flight and we were wondering if we could have a pair of clothes....She seems kind enough after all...," Ever said then, looking back at the lady.
"Go for it." he replied simply. He didn't think it would work, let alone the fact that she didn't speak the language.

Ever knew that he doubted her, but she ignored it and walked over to the woman at the stand. She greeted her with a smile and Ever tried her best to explain what she could, going off some of the Japanese she knew. Ever pointed over to the boy and he woman looked, examining him and nodding, asking Ever a question which was something like "your brother?". Ever nodded and explained once more to the lady. The woman looked at Ever, looking at the boy, then back at Ever with a smile and nodded, saying something else that Ever didn't really pick up. The women got together two outfits and handed them to Ever with a wide smile. Ever smiled back, took them, bowed slightly and went back over to the waiting boy." Here," she said, handing the him his outfit," No underwear type things, but pants, a shirt and socks. No shoes."
"Thanks..." he muttered, taking the clothes. "I'm not used to people just giving me things... so I take them." he said this as he slipped the clothes on, feeling much better now. "By the way, my name is Jake...I remembered while you were over there." he smiled softly. He had some sort of flashback memory of a woman, who he was sure was his mother calling his name.

Ever smiled softly then." Well, nice to meet you Jake. I would give you my name...but I still don't remember....," her voice trailed off, looking down at the clothes for a moment. She then looked up and began looking around.
" Do you see a bathroom somewhere that I can change in?" she asked, still looking around.
"Ummm..." he looked around, he forgot that it wasn't as easy for her to change clothes as it was for him. "There's a phone booth..." he pointed. It was only a few feet away. "I can kind of cover you if you want." he suggested.

" Okay," Ever said, going over to the phone booth. She waited until Jake was covering up as much of the booth as possible before taking off the lab coat she had on. The lady had given her a purple tank top with a black hoody and black skinny jeans. She quickly put them on, a bit difficult to do though because of the tight space.
Jake mistakenly looked back to see if the girl was finished changing. Just as he had peeked, she was pulling up her pants. He quickly turned around and played with the hem of his plain black t-shirt that he was given. At least it matched well with the khaki shorts. Next task, search for some shoes. Walking around on the ground with socks wouldn't hold too much longer. He looked around, getting occasional looks from passersby. His stomach feeling somewhat weak as it growled. He was hungry.

He was a little caught off guard by the word 'underwear'. "Umm, I'm starving..." he replied. "Maybe we can find some food somewhere, and try to figure things out." he sighed.

"Okay, we just need to find one..." he sighed, looking around. He saw a bunch of tall buildings and teenagers that seemed to be the direction of the mall. "Let's follow the crowd." he smiled. He looked over to her as they walked and smiled. "So...I remembered one thing about myself. Do you remember anything?" he asked.

He smiled and continued walking. I really don't even remember what the hell I'm doing in Japan..." he sighed. "And I would love to know what the hell I was doing back there, it seems like they were doing experiments or something."

" Well that is one of the things that I heard they were saying. And there's a cut on my chest," Ever replied, looking around a bit before back at Jake," Do you think they'll come looking for us?"
He sighed, not really wanting to think about that. "Probably, depending on what they were using us for." he told her truthfully. "I really just want to focus on getting some food right now..." he sighed, he was so hungry he could barely think. And whenever he did try to think, it hurt. He looked down at the girl again, seeing her really for the first time now. She was very pretty, she didn't deserve whatever it was that they had gone through.

"For someone that has no memory, you're a very smart person..." he told her kindly, looking for a map of the mall area. He figured the only reason he was able to remember his name sooner than her, was because he was awake a lot longer than she had been. He'd woken up at least an hour and a half before she did. Maybe it was something that would wear off, maybe not. "What are you craving the most?" he asked.

"Sample..." the chef said, placing the finished roll on a plate in front of him. Jake made a small face, then picked it up, and put it in his mouth. He chewed slowly at first, then relaxed his face a bit. "This is actually good..." he told her.

Ever looked down when the chef put one in front of her, blinking a few times. She smelled it first before taking a small bite and chewing. After a moment, she put the rest in and nodded." It is actually pretty good...," she said, looking at Jake.
He smiled, "Umm, can I try that one?" he asked the chef, pointing to a different type. As long as they asked to taste different ones, they weren't liable to pay, they were only asking for samples. He looked over at the girl, "I guess sushi wasn't something we hated." he laughed.
