Ever was surprised when Kat hit Darren, looking at her for a moment but she did not hesitate to take her hand.

She pulled her along, running out of the apartment and down the stairs. She reached into her pocket and grabbed her keys, "Thank god..." she said to herself as she went into the parking garage.

She found her car, struggling to get the keys, she opened the doors and got in. "Get in!" she told her.

Ever nodded and got into the passengers seat quickly, buckling in.

She started up the car, screeching her tires out of the lot. She peeled out quickly, almost hitting another car. "Oh my god, I hope he's not dead...please don't let him be dead." she said to herself.

Ever looked over when Kat spoke, looking away after a moment.

She drove a bit longer, then stopped suddenly on the side of the road. Her hands were shaking.

" Where would I go if I left you know? I have no where, so staying with you is my best option," Ever said.

She looked at her closely and sighed, looking straight ahead again. "Well, I can't go back to my place..." she leaned over, going into the glove compartment, pulling out an evelope. "This was for when Jake came home in case we had to run. But now...it looks like I'll be needing this."
