Pandemonium had something like this happen - with a game changer happening in the last page. i think that there's something to be said about it even though it really made me crazy!

Ohmygoshh I did!

Finale words: unexpected, emotional roller coaster.

Ohmygoshh I did!"
Okay, good. I'm glad it wasn't just me :P

I couldn't cry about the ending because I was so pissed off about it. Oh and why on Earth didn't June finally tell Day that she loved him as well. I mean that was a better time if any for her to come to the realization that she loved him, but yeah....very upsetting.

I am so agree with you u_u at leats the only good thing who could happened to Day was meet his brother again, but now he will die and leave his little brother alone, I can't wait to see how the things will turn out on the third book u_u I hope that it won't end up as sad as the first two books u_u

I really really (!) hope he doesn't die in Champion, but in a way, again, it would seem realistic.

That is hilariously awesome.

No, no your not.
That was probably the reaction Marie Lu anticipated from fangirls everywhere when she wickedly crafted
that ending
OMGOSHH IT WAS AWFULNESS

The hardest thing for me was the inability to talk about it. This was before I went on goodreads and I was dying inside. I just wasn't able to handle it! I searched up reactions and youtube videos of reviews and everything I could find just to see if people had that same reaction. Thankfully I relieved some of my stress but it was difficult the first few months of not being able to tell anyone I knew about it!

Especially when the conversation goes like this
"Day and June were-"
"Who is Day?"
"They are characters in my book!" *sniff sniff*
"Oh god calm down _____ it is just a book"
"Really? It is JUST a book?!" *strangles*
And then you are charged for murder and are sent to jail so you can't read the third book...
JK! But seriously. I HATE when people are like 'gawd it is just a book' IT IS NOT JUST A BOOK!

Ugh. Friends. At times they are the people you couldn't live without...at other times *cough* when you read a good book *cough*...you dread them

No. No your not. Unification of the nerds!

I just hope Marie Lu doesn't follow in Stephanie Meyer's footsteps and do something like New Moon.
That would be a severe disappointment! She is doing so well and there are so many ways she can expand her story!

Oh, I'm the same as you. When they mentioned his headaches, from reading other books I guessed that something was up but just didn't know how Marie Lu was going to tie it into the story. What surprised and upset me was the fact that June still didn't say she loved Day. His actions were just as you said, it was just as we would think, that he would do anything to protect his loved ones.
Yeah, I'm sure Marie Lu won't do a Stephanie Meyer. In fact, I actually skipped New Moon and went on to the next book because I was getting tired of the ridiculous events that occured in that book.

NO. NO, YOU ARE NOT.

Everyone is whining about: "how could Day possibly leave June"
And i'm whining aloud pulling what's remaining of my hair asking: "how could Day be dying!!!" X'@
And i'm whining aloud pulling what's remaining of my hair asking: "how could Day be dying!!!" X'@

IM CRYING RIGHT NOW JUST TYPING THIS COMMENT.. Tell me the doctor was wrong PLEASE! ARGHH its so depressing because while I was reading this book I was telling myself YES! THEY GONNA CHANGE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE REPUNBLIC AND COLONIES, AND FINALLY BE TOGETHER. BUTT NOOO! *sniff sniff*
