Aargh! I'm chronically late with my reads."
Looking forward to this one. New Ginn Hale, new Jordan Castillo Price, and new Jordan L. Hawk all in one place! :)

Oh good. Thanks! I'll hang in!

I also just started Love Lessons in audiobook. I've not read or listened to this series before, so we'll see how it goes. :-)

I hope you enjoy it, Jordan! It's one of my most favourite series. The audiobook didn't work for me, unfortunately. Hopefully it will work for you! :)

I managed to transfer it manually on my Kindle. I'm going to bed some 3 hours earlier than usual to read ;-).

I know so many of you have enjoyed it. So far the audio is pretty good. It's helpful because I'm currently making a lot of buttons for NaNoWriMo in November, so this is a great thing to listen to while making buttons. :-)

Funny. I just finished relistening to it for the 10th time probably. I adore this series and Iggy Toma's narration so I hope you enjoy it. Some find the second one lacking but I think it's more that the first story is so good. Third one in the series is also awesome, Elijah Prince is just adorable.

I've not been listening to audiobooks much lately, so we'll see what happens when I finish this one. I still have several others I've not listened too since I got them a long time ago. lol.

Hahaha! Very good. :-D

Right?! It's a wonderful, lovely story.

What annoys me most about this is that I just don't seem to have the time to sit down with this book for a couple of hours. It's a really long book, which is both a blessing and a very minor curse. lol.
I knew this one would turn around and I'd love it. Or, at least, I was hoping the character could redeem himself, and maybe his friends. :-) He's getting there.

He's getting there is a good description. :-)
And I understand you perfectly in regards to long book being a blessing and a curse. :-D I think this one doesn't lend itself to being read in bits and pieces. It needs longer sittings to really delve into it, yes?

Let the fact that I'm a Mclean stan not colour your judgement of my opinion but Object of Desire was AMAZEBALLS

yes. Her first book was also AMAZEBALLS, which is how I knew this one would be too. I'm just wicked happy it's just as good as I'd expected it to be. I'm really going to push for it to be on our list.

What I love most about Dal is that her characters are such a charming complicated people consisting of both good and bad, foolishness and kindness, selfishness but also with lots of love to give. Just fantastic character writer.
Cancelled my plans for the day so I could spend it in bed with Object of Desire. Sooo glad I did! This might give me a bit of a book hangover. I can’t believe it’s over. I loved it so much!

Solid cop thriller/mystery. Narrated by Michael Ferraiuolo. SO GOOD!

Finished The Devil Take You Anthology. Loved it, rich well written stories with mm elements. Some creepy, some devil as hero...some a little silly.
Finished Zero Hour, a re-issue, I think, from Jordan Castillo Price. Post apocalypse in which the religion isn't quite what it seems. Loved it, mm romance a strong theme among others.
Finished Pisces Hooks Taurus, Anyta Sunday. A light and easy romance, good story.
Also Nothing More Certain, a short story by R.C. Cooper in her Familiar spirits series. Likable characters, neat magical town...very simple sweet tale.

- Bones - good stories by Kim Fielding and Eli Easton, and I have two more in the anthology, by Jamie Fessenden and B.G. Thomas. So far it's better than the first volume.
- a new-to-me mystery author - Greenwich Killing Time. There's potential, but I haven't decided yet...
- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. The first half was excellent. The second (i'm at 70%) a bit less, but i think it's because i'm not sure how i feel about what's happening. In any case, it's very good.

I love Kinky!
But his books are definitely not for everyone.

Zero Hour was really good! I like the original cover better though. I remember having a discussion with JCP about it, that with the print book the cover wrapped all the way around, so you got more cover, than you would have with the ebook. :-) I need to reread that one someday.

Oh! I need to check that out.
Oh! I need to check that out.
Starting Cronin's Key by NR Walker.
I've been meaning to try one of her books for ages, but what really decided me (and this is a commentary on the positives of attending conferences) was chatting with her at dinner one night. I liked her very much--thought she was pleasantly down to earth and had a good sense of humor--and so I thought I'd give this particular series a whirl (MUMMIES). :-D

Oh, that's so good to hear! I did enjoy her Red Dirt Heart series. Though, probably the first more than the others.

I've just started Euphoria, which is about a non-binary alien who is looking to save mankind, and falls for a scientist who is not a people person.
Just a super cool FYI: Josh has chosen our December read!!!
We will read this vintage Christmas mystery collection: Crimson Snow: Winter Mysteries.
And I just have to say, I love the title. Can't wait to dive into this one next month!

I read the first in the Cronin's Key series but vampires aren't really my thing so I pace myself (don't tell anyone I just finished writing a vampire Christmas coda for the Advent Calendar). I really really really liked The Weight of it All and the Imago series and Red Dirt Heart.....oh, and Switched.

This sounded cool. It's on my list. :)

I’ve read a dozen of her books and this is the only one that didn’t work for me at all. So if it’s the same for you, l hope you try another. :)

Haldis, I was just about to make almost this exact same comment. Cronin's Key--meh. But the Red Dirt Heat series is my favorite and the Imago series is great, too.

Wonderful. This sounds definitely promising and the book can also be found in e-format, so that's great.
ETA: Although I ended up ordering it as paperback, cause I really like the cover. :-D

I listened to the audios on that series. They were fun, and I really enjoyed them. Love the Red Dirt Heart series. Oklahoma is called Red Dirt, so when I picked up the first one I thought it was set here.
