I started listening to Winter Kill and I'm loving it! Gomez has improved in this short time, because I hear Winter Kill characters, not Vic! Yay! I love his voice!

We're reading the same book then, Camp Hell. I'm not far into it, but I was a little worried what would develop between Vic and Stefan. I knew he wouldn't want to risk losing Jacob.

Now I know I'll love the rest of the books. Those two are super together and have loved the way they each give a little bit more of themselves.

Yes, and she gave 4 or 5 stars to the ones she read, 9 of them. The whole series is 13 books.
I read Strange Bedfellows last night. I liked the story and it was very well written, but completely ridiculous. Like the son of a current president and a congressman would be able to run all around the city and not be followed by secret servicemen and bothered by paparazzi... huh? Not that that was the only unbelievable part, but still. It was sweet and entertaining though, and an easy read.

I stopped with GhostTV. My very favorite in the series is the first (it's got a quirky energy to it) and the one right before GhostTV.

I love graphic novels. I have quite a large collection of different genres in graphic novel format. I am currently completing the Fables series which has come to an end with 22 books. I am on book 20.https://www.goodreads.com/series/5429...
I know Dreamspinner are producing graphic novel versions of some of their books. I would love to have some of Josh's books as graphic novels. :)

I couldn't agree more! Quite a few of Josh's books would make wonderful graphic novels. Adrien English books, of course, but also Snowball in Hell, for example...

A dragon picture over on Facebook had me remembering a series I read about 15 years ago. The first book
A wizard is murdered and his familiar, a wee dragon, latches on to the wizard's friend and has him solve the crime.
I remember liking them. Mystery plus dragon plus magic, how could I not?
I have decided to make this series (5 books) one of my reading challenges for this year.

I glanced at the page for this and noticed someone had rated it two stars but mentioned that they've read it three times already. That is just the funniest thing to me. The book obviously has something because this reader keeps coming back to it, but the reader rates it below average. :-D

Yeah! Anything I rate two stars I have a hard time finishing once. Three times....maybe he/she's a masochist. Never know.

Partly it's that I don't want to get jolted out of the frame of mind for own work. And partly I'm too restless to settle into anything.

I'm not sure if I should make suggestions on how to overcome this state or not because "the frame of mind for own work" might prove beneficial for my reading in the long run. ;)

oh I would love to see Snowball in Hell as a graphic novel... can you imagine that Inn where they stayed? So many cool images in that book.

I hate when that happens. I always like to have something going at all times. trying to find a book to get into when nothing sounds good is annoying to me.

I'm getting slowly through Mary Stewart's The Last Enchantment, and while I'm really enjoying it, I'm still having a hard time concentrating on it.
I'm also almost done with Winter Kill and I'm kinda upset about that because I've been really enjoying the audio and I just don't want it to end!

I've bee re-reading J.L. Merrow's Shamwell tales 1 and 2 (Caught! and Played!) so I can read the latest, Out!. I've been enjoying them all over again.

I read Save of the Game which was wonderful - if you haven't tried Avon Gale please check her out, very gifted writer.

I finally read Joanna Chambers' Unnatural the other days and it's so beautiful. I absolutely loved it.

I think Joanna is such a smart and entertaining writer.
I am reading Mask For A Diva byGrant Michaels It is the 4th book in his Stan Kraychik mystery series. It is an enjoyable mystery series with Stan who is a hairdresser, solving mysteries when he should be hairdressing. There is a kind of ironic humour in these stories which I enjoy. I think this is the best in the series so far because it involves a group of opera singers and performers and so there is lots of drama, backbiting, art and death. After this I shall finish off the second book in Charlie Cochrane's Cambridge Fellows series which is a more sedate murder mystery series. :)

She is one of my auto buys (there are very few of them).

I've never read the series, but I did listen to a couple of the audiobooks over the holidays. I like them enough to continue, but they're not in can't-put-it-down territory for me.
