Sweetness. I saw his post on FB about it, but wasn't at the desktop so couldn't get a very good look. Thanks for the link!

That art is really nice huh? I was just watching the video this morning. I'll have to back on payday for one of those limited editions.
I was a bit skeptical when I read this, don't like the illustration on the book covers. But gotta say, I'm really excited for this!! Looks amazing.
Pat didn't work with the book cover designers except on the first book and he was informed after the fact that it is a no no. He said something in one of his interviews that he contacted the first irelease book artist and the artist told him then that that was not the norm. Even though pat did approve the work , every other book art was artist own rendition.
As far as I know, Pat has very little if any say as to what the book cover really looks like. For the cards though, Pat is working with the artist directly, adding his input from the very beginning of each individual cards rough sketch. Last night he actually even put it on YouTube as a live hangout as they worked together on Devi's card.

Pat wanted things changed and he didn't mind at all. That's how it should be! I'm really looking forward to owning this deck when it comes out!
This deck is going to be awesome. I almost wished I wouldn't have seen it because of all the $$$$$$$ I spent
Yah, I pretty much had to stop looking at it because I really didn't have the money to keep spending LOL!

It looks really gorgeous IMO.
Besides the project intro video there's also an hour long video of the artist and Patrick talking about the project and graphic art in general. So even if you're not interested in acquiring a deck of cards, but just love to hear Pat ramble on about his process (like I do) it's still worthwhile to check it out.
