Robert Lopez | 6 comments Ok, so this book was something about a House on the Lake, or Cabin on the Lake... (I hope I'm not getting these books mixed up)

Anyhow. It's about this boy who falls in love with this girl who lives in a large house, on a cliff overlooking the beach. Her father is in some kind of military, and he recruits the boy to do the dirty work for him. He takes the boy to some illegal karate tournament and the boy kicks ass. Then I think he grows up and lives behind a house with a lady and her kid. And something happens at the kid's baseball game when the man loses it. (Again, I hope I'm not mixing up 2 different stories.)

I don't think this book was written by a famous author.

These all seem to be a stretch, but they came up in an intial search. Is there anything else you can remember about the plot?

Robert Lopez | 6 comments I think the title has the words "House on the Lake," or something. Cover was blue and had a house in front of a lake.
