Is there room in today's literature for some irreverent Scifi fun?
'Arlo and Jake Enlist' is my attempt to create a space opera spoof where the women are gorgeous, the hero is sarcastic and clueless. Where the bad guys are nasty and all wet (you'll see).
It's not porn. It's more eyecandy for the funnybone. (Please pardon the multiple mixed metaphors, it's a personal flaw in my writing, and I'm not working to fix it. ;-)
The series will engage your SciFi thirst for new worlds to explore and gadgets you just have to get somehow. Like 'Einstein', Jake's personal research AI. I gotta get me one of those. And the 'com-tat's, command tattoos, that are embedded in your skin to enhance your senses and oh... I should let you read it and find out.
Point? Is there room for a little humor in today's block buster, mega world-busting SciFi?
I hope so, I'm spending a lot of time thinking up ways to get my hero's butt in and out of trouble!
