Liz: I walk into a room filled with tables and a hole in the wall where everyone is crowded around...
Stiles strode in, hands in his pockets. His fingers were still tingling, and he had yet to determine the source of it.Morticia walked slowly behind everyone, eyes scanning the room.
Ivy: I walked in with a sense of purpose and confidence. I have too many things to live for to die now. I'm going to be strong.
White tables are orderly lain out for everyone. There is no food at the table at the moment. The room is large and white- similar to the starting room. A voice fills the room. "Please take a seat. Your food will be here shortly. Please..."
Odette walked into the cafeteria, still holding Shade's hand. "God, they're everywhere and there's not even food!" Odette signed, trying to get over the fact that she was holding someones hand.
Shade: I shrug. I try not to grin like an idiot- I like the way her hand felt in mine. "I guess let's take a seat and hope that their food isn't as bad as their room design. I'm getting sick of all this white..."
Odette laughed. "That makes two of us. The food had better be good." she said, trying to ignore the ghosts--she had decided they were ghosts--around her. Odette tried not to burst out in a happy dance--that was so immature--but someone was holding her hand. ANd it was lovely.
Shade: "Yeah, all that archery training made me hungry." I say, grinning. "Your a great teacher though." I give her a shy smile, as we take a seat.
Odette rolled her eyes. "It was ten minutes of basic aim, nothing major." she said, taking a seat next to him. "The food better not be as bland as this room, either." she said, holding his hand tightly as a ghost sat across from her. "Hello." she said softly. The ghost looked at her in awe. "You can see me?"
Odette nodded.
"Guys, this one can see us!" the ghost wailed, and all the other ghosts came crowding. Odette tensed.
Jay: I walk, head high into the cafeteria room. I make an entrance- slamming the doors open as I walk in grinning. I sit next to Lil. "Hey. Food come yet?"
Shade: I'm about to reply when she says...Hello? "Odette? Did you say..Hello? Who are you...?" I look forward but I don't see anyone.
Odette frowned. "Sorry." she said to Shade, holding his hand tightly. "I have company." she was tense and ready to bolt, but all the ghosts really wanted was to sit near the one that could see them, apparently.
Jay: I laugh. "So...Like if your in the maze. And you've got no food, but you have some sort of plant that humans can't eat. You could just turn into a herbivore so you can survive on it?" I say, jealous. Finding food would be so much easier.
((I'm going to make a group adjustment- group C & D have too little people))
((I'm going to make a group adjustment- group C & D have too little people))
Odette frowned. "Just ghosts. Don't worry, they're not gonna eat you. Apparently not many people can see the, so they're just sitting near me. Don't be a wimp." she teased, squeezing his hand.
Shade: Ghosts? I wasn't scared of spirits or any dark creatures....maybe because I controlled the dark. But it felt strange knowing that ghosts...I squeeze her hand back, and laugh. "As long as they don't eat me, I'm cool."
Odette bit her lip. "They don't want to eat you. Just food, but since they're ethereal, they can't. Shame..." Odette held his hand more tightly. "Some of them are really gruesome."
(( Wah!? your parents are taking away ur phone?!))
((No, I needed my phone so Ms. Gage said I could make a call, but there was no service so she let me take it home for tonight then give it to her tommorow))
Aura and Aria walked into the cafeteria clasping hands tightly. In scary situtations, the twins didn't let go of each others hands. Ever. "I have a bad feeling about this..." Aura said. Aria nodded. "I agree wholeheartedly." Aria said softly.
Angel of Death wrote: "Shade: I frowned. "They'll leave you alone though, right? Like...their not going to hurt you?""Odette shook her head. "They just want someone to talk to. Most of them have been dead for centuries. They could hurt me if they wanted, but they dont. They're just lonely." she reassured, not loosening her grip on his hand.
Shade: I relax a little. "Good." I had no experience with ghosts- I was never sure if they existed or not. Well, that's my answer. "I hope that's a good thing. Will they be in the maze?"
Odette held his hand tightly, probably cutting off circulation to his fingers, but she couldn't help it. "Probably. They're everywhere. Excuse me, ma'am, but could you please back away from my face? I'm a little bit of a freak when it comes to personal space." Odette lied, tensing as a ghost got close to her face and started talking to her eagerly. "Thank you ma'am. You were saying?" she was still unnerved about the ghost thing, but she had to deal with it, right?
Shade: My eyes widen as she talked to what looked like...well, nothing. "So they can talk to you, and you can hear them?" It was like...an unwanted invisable friend.
Odette nodded. "Looks like I'll never be alone again." she said softly, but not really upset about it. One of her greatest fears was being alone. But that didn't compare with her greatest fear.
Shade: I bit my lip, feeling bad. I often had times where I really just needed some alone time- being that dark, shadow boy, the silent one no one usually pays attention to. "Would they listen to you if you told them to go? They can...hear you right? Can they...hear...me?"
Odette frowned. "Can you hear him?" she asked the ghost in front of her, gesturing to Shade with her free hand. The ghost shook her head. "Just those who can speak to us, except for a few."Odette smiled sadly. "No wonder you guys were so eager to see me." she turned to Shade. "They can't hear you, except for a few. The powerful ones can..."
((yay! No crazy posting! Thanks guys!!))Carter: "where you two wanna sit?" I grimaced thinking of what would happen in the labyrinth.
((Heyz Heather:) I gtg for swimming really soon))
Shade; "Oh, okay." I don't know if I'm relieved or not. "Your okay though, right? With...them?"
Silver: I shrug. "Let's just sit here." I motion to the nearest table.
Shade; "Oh, okay." I don't know if I'm relieved or not. "Your okay though, right? With...them?"
Silver: I shrug. "Let's just sit here." I motion to the nearest table.
Odette nodded. "Oh, yes. They're not particularly rude, just lonely. Yes, sir, I do understand." Odette said to a ghost. "That is horrible, yes. I'm sorry to her that."
Suddenly, The tables flip over, revealing heaps and heaps of gourmet dishes, drinks, and eating utensils. "You have a one hour break to eat before we announce your groups."
((gtg now, srry:( I'll be back within...2hours?))
Silver: "Wow." I survey the food. "Not to bad for psychotic 'humanity changers.'"
Shade: I look at the food. "At least the food looks good."
Silver: "Wow." I survey the food. "Not to bad for psychotic 'humanity changers.'"
Shade: I look at the food. "At least the food looks good."
((okay :/))Carter: "not bad, not bad!" I clap my hands, surveying the food. "well, Bon apetit?" I hoped I used that correctly, or else I'd had sounded dumb.
Odette's eyes widened. "Oh, wow." she said breathlessly. "Thats a lot of food." she commented. Aura and Aria frowned. "That defies gravity..." Aura said weakly. "How do we know it's not poisoned?" she shouted.
Silver: I punch Carter playfully, before responding to the girl. "Cuz this isn't their main event. They need us for their experiment, and like it or not- they'll pamper us so they get the best results."
