Kody (thekody) | 1 comments I've got an edition of a book I'm trying to add (The Beastly Beatitudes of Balthazar B), but it has an 11 digit ISBN. The listing on the author's website has the same 11 digit ISBN.

As of now I've just got the 11 digit ISBN listed in the description. Is this a typo? I can't find any info on 11 digit ISBNs, only 10 and 13.

Cait (tigercait) | 5005 comments I've seen some old paperbacks from right around the time that ISBNs were introduced which had twelve numbers on the spine: nine for an ISBN with a leading 0 left off and three for the price of the book. This could be something like that -- is the ISBN printed anywhere on the copyright page, or is it just on the cover?

Edited to add: Hmm, could it be this edition, then?

Curtis (cweyant) | 1 comments I know this is an old thread, but just wanted to note a correction for anyone searching the topic. There ARE indeed 11-digit SBNs. Rare, but they do exist.
