I’m Alex Rivera, a self-help author passionate about helping people break through mental clutter and rebuild confidence. I recently published my first book, Mind Reset – 7 Days to Rewire Your Mind and Change Your Life: A Simple Day-by-Day Guide to Build Discipline, Confidence, and Clarity, which offers a short, structured path to greater mental clarity — one mindset shift per day.
I’m here to connect with other authors, discover new books, and grow alongside this community of writers and readers. Thanks so much for having me — and I look forward to learning from you all!
Warmly,
Alex Rivera

I am an author of paranormal comedies, paranormal romance, and maybe a psychological thriller or two if I can cook them up :)
I like food, sleeping, doing things, and looking at stuff. lol
Glad to be here, and I hope to connect with other authors. Let's have a good time and help each other out.

Like most people, I'm here to connect with authors, readers (including reviewers) and the wider community, and to learn a few things about the book world.
Looking forward to it!

I'm Soheil, a debut author preparing to publish my psychological sci-fi novel, HomeAdrift, this October.
Goodreads community has been an incredible help over the past few years, from finding alpha and beta readers to connecting with editors. Now I’m excited to be here as a writer looking to connect with fellow readers and share ARCs closer to launch.
Looking forward to the journey and to connecting with you all!

I also develop games and create digital illustrations. I am excited to connect with like-minded people and with those who would like to dive into my world without flaws. I'm glad to be here.

I’m a debut author working on the Aegis Global series—a romantic suspense trilogy with a lot of heart, heat, and high-stakes action. The story follows an ex-military private security team, a resilient heroine, and the complicated dynamics that unfold when trauma, loyalty, and love collide.
Outside of writing, I’m a single mom of four, a coffee enthusiast, and a huge fan of found family stories, slow-burn tension, and emotionally layered characters. I grew up in a small North Texas town (the same one that inspired my setting), and I love writing about strong women and the protective men who don’t know what hit them.
I’m currently looking for ARC readers, so if you’re into emotional, character-driven romance with real-world stakes and some spice, I’d love to connect!
💬 Feel free to say hi or drop a rec—I’m always looking for new books and reader friends.

My book is Juniper Fairchild and the Alterwhere, a whimsical fantasy adventure novel about a broken alternate universe, two women in their thirties playing a single role meant for a fourteen year old (to the confusion of everyone), and second chances.
Outside of my debut novel, I'm the founder of the world's only science fiction and fantasy radio station, so you'd think I'd have more of a handle on how any of this works.
Anyway, hi, and I'm always up for reviewing the work of others, and I'm also looking for ARC readers and new friends.

I'm in the process of setting up a website to co-promote amateur sleuth mysteries with other authors to give us all more visibility and drive sales. It's currently on my author website, but I'd like to migrate it to it's own address if I can get a few more authors to collaborate on content. You can see the initial pages at https://www.timkarney.com/amateur-sle...

My Tomart projects included "Tomart’s Price Garage Sale Gold," "Tomart’s Value Guide to Disney Animation Art," and being Managing Editor of "Tomart’s DISNEYANA Update" magazine.
Over the years, I have contributed eight stories to the Bewildering Stories website.
I have written the children’s books "The Cactus Who Wanted to Be a Christmas Tree," "The Boy Who Could Wiggle His Ears," and the "A Doll Comes to Visit" trilogy.
More recently, I have written two novels -- "With a Little Help From My Friend: A Mystery Story" and "Canine Champions." I also have written "Stories Short and Strange," building on the Bewildering Stories pieces. (See the website, www.bobwelbaum-author.com."
Recently I have written my 'memoirs': "No Limits: What I've Learned Traveling the World One Mile at a Time" about running marathons on all seven continents, among other adventures. (See the website https://www.No Limits: What I've Learned Traveling the World One Mile at a Time, check out the pictures). My next goal is to run half-marathons on all the continents.
My major weakness is marketing.

I released my Debut fantasy novel 'South of Hell: The First Book Of Tracth' in june and would love some honest reviews!
Thanks

My new book, Escaping the Primary, is set to launch on all major platforms September 12th. This will be book one of three, and if interested, I have provided free advanced copies for reading. If you' choose, you may also leave an honest review (it would be much appreciated). I hope you enjoy!
Escaping The Primary- Synopsis:
They stole her family.
They erased her memories.
But what if the fragments refused to stay buried?
Anna swore survival was her only mission. Until she met Nick.
A draftee for the regime she despises.
Bound by duty. Trapped like her.
His honey-green eyes unravel her defenses.
Every forbidden glance makes her pulse thunder.
Every touch is fire she can’t resist.
But what if surrendering to him means losing herself?
What if desire is the spark that burns everything down?
Escaping the Primary is a dark, sensual YA dystopian debut that blends forbidden romance, fractured memories, and the brutal fight for survival in a regime that demands obedience. Perfect for fans of The Hunger Games, Red Queen, and From Blood and Ash, this is a story where love is dangerous, rebellion is deadly, and desire could ignite a revolution.

I am Alexie, a newbie author who loves to read and write. Hope to have some fellow authors as my friends.

I'm Jim, a new author, and I've just pre-published my debut book, Home is a Foreign Country. If you like non-fiction memoirs relating to survival, travel, transformational journeys and expat adventures, then you will like my books.
Here's a blurb:
On the patio of his Vancouver townhouse, Jim Steffler stood at a crossroads. He was walking away from a million-dollar home, a six-figure salary, and the person he loved most—all to finally face the truth he had been running from his entire life.
From a chaotic childhood defined by perpetual motion and an emotionally distant father, to a life of professional success and a string of failed marriages, Jim’s story is a raw and honest account of a man who always seemed to be searching for a place to call his own. Desperate to find his footing, he sold everything and moved to Mérida, Mexico. What began as a grand adventure became an eighteen-year odyssey, where he meticulously transformed a humble hostel into a beautiful boutique hotel.
But what happens when the paradise you created becomes a cage?
Home Is a Foreign Country is a powerful memoir about one man’s lifelong search for a place to land. It's a story of falling apart and rebuilding, of a man who traveled to the ends of the earth to escape his past, only to discover that home isn't a place you go back to, but a place you must build from within.
A free arc is available on Booksprout in exchange for an honest review:

I'm brand new to the community here on goodreads, and I recently debuted my romantasy novel, Hearts of Ice and Dragon Fire. I'd like to turn my passion for writing stories of magical adventures and romance into a career one day, so I am excited to find so many people interested in supporting new authors.
I'm from Canada, I like chocolate, and my favourite book (this week) is The Giver. Cheers!

My name is Timothy K. Hayes, and I’m glad to join this community. I enjoy writing books that encourage growth and inspiration, and I’m looking forward to connecting with both authors and reviewers here.
I’ve recently completed my new book, The Confident Mindset Mastery, which I’ll be sharing with ARC readers soon. I’m excited to be part of this group and grateful for the chance to learn and contribute.
Best regards,
Timothy
Hey guys, I’m Andoni. Spent a good chunk of my life in the Air Force and defense world, now I’m trying to turn those experiences into thrillers.
Joined this group to pick up some tips, maybe get a few honest pointers, and see how the pros do it.
I’ve got a book coming out soon, so any advice on navigating this part of the journey would mean a lot.

I’m truly grateful to be accepted into this wonderful group — thank you all for welcoming me! It’s an honor to join a community that shares such a deep love for books and meaningful storytelling.
I’d like to kindly invite anyone who enjoys thought-provoking fiction to read my novel Holivera, available on Amazon Kindle. I’m not looking for paid promotion — what I truly value are honest and heartfelt reviews from genuine readers.
As a writer, I believe in the power of truth in storytelling, and I welcome every opinion, whether positive or critical. I’m proud of this novel because it reflects a real journey of hope, pain, and redemption — and I’d love to hear your honest impressions if you decide to read it.
Thank you again for allowing me to be part of this inspiring community.
Warm regards,

My name is Hayleigh Huntley and I am about to be a new indie author! I found this group and thought it would be a perfect place to find some lovely people who would like to read my book in exchange for a review. ☺

I am thrilled to be part of this group. My name is Ken Cheney, and I wrote Ark Debt, a YA dystopian thriller. The book has a steady stream of daily downloads on Amazon, with some days yielding as few as 5 and others as many as 300 downloads. The book has maintained a steady top ranking in several categories for over a month. That said, I am lacking reviews. I am actively seeking readers willing to review Ark Debt.
Ark Debt Synopsis:
In a frozen near-future, humanity survives inside a single underground Ark where an AI tracks every breath, calorie, and decision through an unforgiving EcoDebt system. Fall behind, and you are conscripted to hard labor or cast out into the wasteland above. Two older teens on the verge of adulthood, Liam and Maya, face an impossible choice that forces them to confront power, debt, and the cost of compassion. Their fight for freedom becomes a test of identity, love, and leadership as they uncover secrets about the Ark and the people who run it.
Genre: Dystopian sci-fi thriller, upper-YA crossover
Why it qualifies as upper-YA crossover:
• The story centers on characters transitioning into adulthood who make independent, life-altering choices about work, loyalty, and identity.
• Themes are mature and real-world adjacent, including systemic debt, surveillance, bodily autonomy, and moral gray areas.
• Romantic tension and consequences are written for high-school-age readers and up, with a tone and complexity, not middle-grade or younger YA.
Heat Level: Mild (romantic tension and kissing, no on-page sex; peril and violence are non-graphic but intense)
Where to find the book:
• Amazon Kindle: Ark Debt – eBook: https://www.amazon.com/hz/mycd/digita...

I love books tackling grand topics in a simple, accessible format. Something I emulate with my writing. I'm looking for advice and support from the experienced writers amongst us.
I am a willing beta reader. I'll provide comments on structure, pacing, and world-building.
I love drawing, painting, walking and reading!
Anyone got any tips they want to share with a newbie?

I'm Eric Magun, an award-winning filmmaker and now novelist. I’m excited to invite you to step inside the Sinners Club—my multi-award-winning debut novel Thank God for the Sinners that just hit the shelves in August. Dark, gritty, and unapologetically raw, this psychological thriller drags you headfirst into the wild, unforgettable ride following outcast Rick Price as he explores memory, childhood scars, trauma, adventures through China and more. Early readers have called it 'Tarantino meets Bukowski on a Bourdain odyssey.'
As this is my life’s work, I would be thrilled to know all your thoughts, opinions and feedback on here, also through a Goodreads review, or even an amazon review. As a new author, this is incredibly valuable to me and I would be happy to return the favor to anyone else in the community. Hope to find new ‘sinners’ in here. Buckle up and enjoy the chaos!

A few years (and a lot of rejections) later, I’d closed five investment properties before even becoming a U.S. citizen.
My book, How I Bought Five Properties Before Becoming a U.S. Citizen – The Do’s and Don’ts of Building an American Real Estate Empire as a Millennial Migrant, pulls back the curtain on that journey — from the banks that ghosted me to the deals that nearly collapsed, and the creative hacks that finally worked.
Here’s what you’ll discover inside:
• How to buy U.S. real estate legally without a green card or long credit history
• How immigrant families can turn “visa uncertainty” into leverage and motivation
• Why shifting from hustling for rent to hustling for ownership changes everything
I’d love to hear from you:
👉 What’s been your toughest mental or financial barrier to owning property?
I’ll reply to every comment — I’m fascinated by how each of us defines the American Dream in our own way.
