Say Hello! [Introductions]

Hi, Mary. Welcome to GR.

Looking forward to reviewing your works in the future!

Hi, Kathy. I think my debut novel would be something that might tickle your fancy. Here's the link so you can check out the blurb etc: GOLD!
There's a new cover on the way, as I've been told this one makes it look a bit like a ‘how-to’ book on gold mining. It definitely isn't!
Message me if you're interested and I'll send you an EBOOK or PDF. Many thanks.

Hi, Kathy. Would you be interested in a Gritty Family Saga set in Australia? Here's the link, so you can check out the blurb, etc.

Hi Kathy,
I hope you’ll consider reviewing my latest novel, and winner of the Literary Titan Golden Book Award, “Yuri & the Pig” (87,000 words [282 pages] published by Wild Wolf Publishing on September 1, 2023), a work of fiction based on the current war in Ukraine. However, the countries involved are fictitious, too.
Some excerpts from editorial reviews:
“C W Lovatt's storytelling is masterful…” ~ Readers’ Favorite
“Lovatt's novel is a literary gem …” ~ A Look Inside
“A genuinely thought-provoking novel, it beckons readers to reflect on the intricate dance of life, growth, and self-discovery.” ~ Literary Titan
The following is the blurb:
“From the best-selling author of the Charlie Smithers adventures.
A farmer and his pig set off on an extraordinary quest across war-torn Eastern Europe.
Entangled in a savage war, the country of Xoraina is fighting for its very existence; but to Yuri, a simple peasant from a remote mountain village, it seems all but certain that the invading Zlaimperians must ultimately prevail. Not that it is of any consequence to him, of course. In Yuri’s view, every form of government is equally bad, so it makes very little difference who holds the reins of power. Indeed, throughout time, the only things that have ever really mattered are that the soil be tilled, the cows milked, and the pigs shipped to market, all in a timely fashion.
But when an exorbitant new tax threatens that philosophy, he sets off with his pig across the war-ravaged land to the Capital in order to fight the injustice. In the process, their journey becomes a road to a terrible enlightenment, causing Yuri to question his deeply seated beliefs. But only when he and his pig find themselves placed squarely in destiny’s path is there any hope of those questions finding answers.”

Thank you for your time.

I would love if some people would take some time to check out my novel and give any kind of feedback or reviews!

I read your comment last night then had a zombie dream last night, so I figured I'd reach out 😆
I'd love to read your book - do you happen to have physical copies? If you want, please email me at gingerkins23@yahoo.com

Lmao what a coincidence the same thing happened to me but it was more like a Warm Bodies kinda feel I do have physical copies on both Amazon and B&Npress and I have just recently exclusively moved the ebook to KDP Select whichever is easier for you to get a hold of just let me know. I will say due to file issues I was not able to get the original cover I created onto the physical copies on Amazon so it only on B&N but again I can order copies from either so just let me know!
Thank you so much for taking an interest in the title I really hope you enjoy it :) Have a wonderful day!!

How cool is that! It must of been in the air or something!
I'd absolutely love a physical copy! I'd take photos for my review so whichever one you want to send I'm good with! Your are very welcome & thank you for getting back to me! I was going to message you on here but it says you aren't accepting messages.

Working on my next releases, a collection of short stories and the first novel in a series at the moment
A Con Affair: A Rom Con - A Gay Comic Con Love Story

I'm Wells Carroll... and I am not a person. Honest. I am a pen name for a group of writers, retired military officers and sci-fi geeks who had a crazy concept. Let's write an 8-book sci-fi series called Marauding Stars. It's about societal fears. You know, things like climate change, AI singularity, genetic manipulation, societal injustice, economic crashes and many, many more.
My boss at Stellar Nursery Media said it's okay to ask for reviewers who would like to review Kali Rises: Marauding Stars Book 1 (electronic format). It is available on Kindle Unlimited for free.
If you aren't a member on Amazon then please email my boss at bbsmart@stellarnursery.net. Let him know you'd like to review the book. Also, please tell him if you would prefer mobi or ePub format.
Here's a quick blurb from the back cover:
Ad astra per aspera….
Reaching the stars comes with a price, one Marcus Kenzie is willing to pay. Manipulative, possessed, driven… he’s also not above letting others pay the cost for him.
Haley Brandt just wants out of the murderous slum world she’s trapped in… and wonders how many bodies have to drop to escape her hell.
Keeping his promise to his dead wife means retired SEAL Jason Cobbler needs a reason to get up every morning… yet breaking his word is so tempting.
A seasoned combat reporter, Cara Abrams has seen true evil. Yet when Marcus Kenzie offers a personal interview, she senses it comes with a catch.
And at the California Artificial Life Initiative, an insane life form has broken free to the internet as Kali Rises.
Thank you in advance for assisting us with your professional reviewing skills!

I just published my first book called Uncomfortable Wolves on KDP a week a week ago. It is a dystopian story, but set only a few years into a very recognizable future. Here's a blurb:
In the spirit of classic westerns, but in the realistic setting of today's world devolving into social and economic chaos, everyman Lucas Mitchell is a widowed loner who flees the anarchy in Seattle for his remote Montana ranch - only to bitterly discover it occupied by squatters - a stranded woman and her infant.
Soon, his troubles compound when a draconian new debt-repayment law conscripts Lucas into the U.S. Marshals against his will. He is partnered with Clayton, a stoic Coeur d’Alene Indian and ex-Navy Seal. Their prime directive is to restore order - at any cost. Law will come later.
On his first mission, they are tasked with escorting a vital supply convoy through the mountains. Hidden in a driving blizzard, bandits lie in wait to hijack their precious cargo. Far away and in the middle of a gun battle, Lucas misses a message. It was a desperate plea for help that sinister forces have descended on his unguarded home.
Seeking redemption from his personal demons as he clashes with the wolves of society, Lucas must confront the razor-thin line between civilization and savagery. As the lawlessness and rage grows everywhere, Lucas recalls his partner's warning, “Everyone has a limit, a threshold, some point beyond which they become too... uncomfortable. That's when their inner wolf will emerge.”
I would be honored to have others here read and review. I can send the file in any format you'd prefer. Thanks in advance.

I am a newly published author. My newly published book of poetry (and a bit of prose towards the end) has just been published on Amazon, "Fifty poems of Love, Death, Disdain & Five Excerpts from a Diary of Delirium and Despair", under the pen name "Philip Traum", (yes, yes, from Twain's "The Mysterious Stranger"). Yes, loads of fun, as you can tell from the title, lol. But the truth is - it's not all dark, not by a long shot.
I too am looking for some lovely people who might be interested in reading it and giving it an honest review. As in - I'd send you the proof of the text and cover for nuttin', ha.
Have a good day.
Cheers,
Frank

I'm Rena Aliston. I write dark poetry, crime, thriller, and horror. I'm the author of two dark poetry books - Woven Tales and Shadows and Mirrors.
My first short story collection, The Devil's Grave, is set to be released tomorrow.

I am a disabled Army veteran, from a family of veterans, and this has given me a head full of nightmares and skills that you should NOT practice in a civilized society. So I exorcise my personal demons by putting pen to paper.
Mostly I have written tabletop RPG books, and am currently working on my magnum opus "The Harrowed Earth". However, I just published a tie-in for it called "Fallen Off the Bifrost", book 1 of the "Jormungandr" series.
Now if only I could get word about it out into the world!

Just popping in to find some serious ARC readers for my new books, vol 1 (Rise n Shine) for now. They are ready for amazon and kindle.

I am new to publishing, but certainly not writing!
I am looking for regular reviewers of my works. I write non-fiction genres or broad subtopics! Please follow the link if you would like to support and read my books.

Thank you.

I'm S.P. Fletcher Author of "Shadow Of The Nexus" This is my debut novel (Published March 2024), and I hope readers enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed creating this world. It has been a labor of love, and I am thrilled to finally share it with the world. This is part of a Planned Trilogy.

I'm excited to announce that my new novel "Melissa" is set to launch at the end of July! As a sci-fi author, I love crafting thought-provoking tales that explore free will, destiny, and the power of choice.
"Melissa"Melissa takes a chilling dive into the depths of ambition, promising to be a thought-provoking psychological thriller with a sci-fi twist.
"Melissa" actually began its journey as a screenplay titled "The Return of Melissa" before evolving into this novel. If you enjoyed my debut time-travel adventure "Redemption," I think you'll find "Melissa" equally captivating, though in different ways.
I'm reaching out today with two exciting opportunities:
Join our "Melissa" ARC (Advance Reader Copy) team: https://rbjal.com/melissa-arc
or
Simply receive a FREE e-book on launch day: https://rbjal.com/melissa-sign-up
If either of these options interest you, please let me know! I'd love to have you be part of this journey.

I'm Anita Knowles author of erotica short story Majula: Shadows Don't Judge.

Here's the blurb - Majula finds comfort in shadows. Since when? She doesn't know. Her best guess? When she and her mother—the family—upgraded their neighborhood and got used to looking below at the city from the thirtieth floor of their towering apartment building.
So what?
Wrong question.
She believes it has something to do with a saying she must have heard when she was a child.
If you don't want to get bored of people, change them.
Somehow, it slid into her subconscious and got imprinted on her mind. But not before she put her own unique spin to it.
If you don't want to get bored of people, don't know them.
Now, when she looks down below at the sprawling city, she finds it shadowed by their sheer verticality. And in the shadows, she sees a world unto itself, a world where she can be anyone and anything. A nobody in a sea of the unknown. And no one needs to find out. No one needs to see.
No one needs to know. Where she goes. What she does.
Your feedback is appreciated
Many Thanks

I have traveled to more than 35 countries, and lived in Ecuador, Argentina, France, and Spain. I draw upon my passion for travel to inspire joy in others, teaching people how to show up and live fully by embodying a traveler’s mindset in daily life.
I am a contributing author on Optimal Living Daily and Optimal Relationships Daily podcasts, I have written for TripSavvy and Verywell Family, and was featured in Maynard Webb and Carlye Adler’s New York Times best-seller, Rebooting Work.
I currently live in South Lake Tahoe, California with my husband, two sons, and giant Golden Retriever named Donut.
Do we have anything in common?

I’m Oma, I’ve been on Goodreads for a while now and recently started taking it more seriously.
I’m an avid reader, my reviews are honest and I generally enjoy reading, reviewing and everything in between.

I've written three books, and the first one didn't have a single review or sale. The second one finally gained some "traction," and I owe that in part to Goodreads. So, yes, I'm happy to be here! the third one is just out :)

I am Simon Jones, an indie author living in New Zealand with two published novels and a third on the way.
I write in fantasy and sci-fi genres, but I read more broadly: horror, thriller, historical, and on rare occasions, romance-themed stories. I’ve been on Goodreads for a couple of years now but have lurked in the background until I get some content under my belt. Now I have that (almost) I’m looking forward to spending time connecting with readers and writers, hopefully having some fun exchanges.
It would be a joy to have you review my novels. I will send you copies (not physical, there are enough costs already), just reach out.
Many thanks
Simon
