Eileen O'Finlan | 7 comments Hi everyone, my name is Eileen O'Finlan. I write historical fiction. My debut novel, Kelegeen, was released in 2018. It is set in Ireland during the Great Hunger (aka Potato Famine). The sequel, Erin's Children, is scheduled for release on December 1, 2020. I'm hoping to find some reviewers interested in reading either or both books. Also, since I'm also an avid reader, I'm looking forward to finding some new favorite books from all of you.

For myself, I write science fiction and fantasy. I have two books out and the third is with my editor. Looking forward to making more connections here!

Nancy (therealnani) | 2 comments Hello! My name is Nancy, and I am an author assistant. I help authors find reviewers in all genres, and am always looking for reviewers. So, give me a shout-out and let me know what genres you like to review.

I also review books-- technically, I have a book blog but lately, it's been easier to review them on Instagram. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks!

Nancy | 1 comments Hi everyone,

My name is Nancy and I'm an author of a suspense trilogy set in Santa Cruz CA about a surrogate mom who turns PI. The final book in the series was just released in October 2020. What a journey!

I love reading and my favorite genre is mystery/suspense/thriller but am open to just about anything. Looking forward to meeting authors of all genres.

Cheers,
Nancy

Cece ❀Rants, Raves &Reviews❀ | 2 comments I’m Cece from Portland, and I write reviews.
I find that I pick books based in moods rather than genres. I often go through “book stages” where first I’ll be in a Dragon mood then move into vampires then into witches, etc. Rinse, repeat, victory

Anniken Haga | 5 comments Hi everyone!

My name is Anniken, and I'm an avid reader and writer. I used to read a lot of epic fantasy and sci-fi, but in the last few years I've headed more and more toward the Urban Fantasy genre, and am considering maybe branching my writing in that direction now.

I live in Norway with my dog Izzy, and am happy like this. Only wish I actually had a cabin and not a small apartment connected to a house, but we all need dreams, right? ;)

Alex (The Scribe Owl) Hi! My name is Alex, and it's fantastic to meet you all! I'm an avid reader and blogger and I love supporting indie and debut authors!

My favorite genre is fantasy, though I am open to every genre except horror and erotica. I mostly read YA, though I'll read adult books if they're clean enough.

Kara (ladykarasgmailcom) | 45 comments Hello,
I'm Kara, and I want to thank Marc for sending me the invite, since I have yet to figure out how to ask the group for one. I am not a author, but I do like working with them to honestly review books. I think all author's deserve honest reviews whether I purchased their books or I received it for free. I read on my Kindles and also read paperback copies, basically however I get the books. So if you're a author looking for a honest reviewer, or someone looking for a friend, send me a message and I'll get back to you.
Thank you for reading this.

Many of my books are BDSM, polyamory, power exchange happy ever after romance stories. I recently got the rights back to all of my books and went through a re-branding and am re-releasing all of them with the new pen name, new covers, new titles, the works. Unfortunately that means I have started all over and am desperately trying to get them reviewed. They are all on Kindle unlimited, on amazon or through my website www.kenneralexander.com. Thank you for this group!!!

David Cooper (davidjacooper) Hi all,

Congrats to everyone here on their respective masterpieces!

I've just self-published a hard sci-fi novel that's been in the works for 19 years, and now I'm flailing around for things I can do to promote it.
Nova Sapiens: The Believers

It's fascinating and overwhelming to see the writing community at last after so long basically just keeping it to myself.

I also teach coding / software engineering at Curtin University (hence why the book took 19 years). I think of this and writing as being my two separate lives, but there is some creative cross-over.

Thanks for welcoming me to this group. I'm an author who has previously published science fiction, but I'm breaking into contemporary fiction (where I feel much more at home) with a collection of short fiction entitled And Ampersand: Short Stories on Endings and Beginnings.

I'm really excited to get to meet you all and read your wonderful works!

Sean Bai | 23 comments Hi everyone.

I'm an author as well.

I published my first book on January 1st, 2021.

So far I sold 91~ books, some to friends and family, and gave 100 away through Goodreads (yesterday) and 3000 away during the Free Days a week after release.

So far I have 7 ratings on Amazon US but no reviews, unfortunately. It feels so tiring when people leave star ratings but no reviews because I'm not making enough. I sold most of my book at a discount. Half were at 99 cents.

One of my reviews is a 1-star review from Amazon UK. I have multiple alien species in my military sci-fi book. When aliens and humans meet, you can't expect it to go in a serious manner or how you would expect it to. The 1-star review has probably hurt my sales in the UK, but my positive reviews are from Amazon Australia and my positive ratings are mostly in Amazon US.

Purple Poetry (purple_phoenix_poetry) Hello all!

I have been writing for over ten years, and share my work with the goal of sharing hope in the darkness and taking readers on their own journeys of self-discovery, grasping light, and finding love.

I absolutely love reading and writing reviews, and am thrilled to be able to share my debut poetry collection, Tears of Ash and Light. Tears of Ash and Light Here is the official book description:

my scars breathe no shame
for my wings are growing
from the wounds you left

Tears of Ash and Light takes you on a journey of self-discovery, grasping light, and finding love in the broken mosaic of life.

Born of trauma and healing, this collection of poetry gives readers a touching reminder of what it means to be human. From poems that detail the heartache of recovering from abuse to dealing with new love and hope after pain, Tears of Ash and Light is a powerful read for anyone who is learning how to rise from ashes into the beauty of life.

I look forward to connecting with each of you!

Trana Mathews (tranamathews) | 2 comments Hello, I'm Diane, but I write under the pen name Trana Mathews. I'm writing a family saga trilogy which is fiction based upon known facts of the lives of real people. The Mathews Family was published in January 2020, and Dr. Increase: Mathews Family Saga Book 2 was published on January 17, 2021.

The first novel is a coming-of-age story of young Increase who witnesses the birth of the United States. After the Revolution War ends, central Massachusetts is a hotbed of discontent. Calling themselves Regulators, men again take up their weapons to stop tax collectors. A battle takes place inside Increase's small town during this period known as Shays's Rebellion.

Increase's uncle, Brigadier-General Rufus Putnam, forms the Ohio Company of Associates to settle land in the newly acquired Northwest Territory. His older brother John is with the men sent by the Confederated Congress to survey the Seven Ranges. His eldest sister Susannah is among the first women in Ohio when she and her family settle in the Belpre area. Their peaceful existence doesn't last long before they are forced to settle inside forts, fearful of Indian massacres. Transcripts of original letters written between family members are included within this novel.

Sean Bai | 23 comments Hi everyone.

I'm a military/space opera/alien invasion science fiction author, and I published my first book on January 1st, 2021.

I have 10 ratings so far on Amazon US, but no reviews. I've tried everything I can think of. I gave away 3100 copies and put a link in the back of the book directing people to where they can review my book on Amazon.

Whispers of War (Aliens Among the Stars Book 1)

War.

An alien war.

The catlike alien asked the humans to fight in an alien war.

Can you believe that?

An alien research vessel crashed on Earth 5,000 years ago, throwing our solar system into a temporal bubble. No time has passed outside our solar system.

It is now 2030, ten years after a government shutdown that never ended.

A blood-red alien almost killed Terry Chang. The feline alien saved his life. Now he and his friends must head into space, where five alien species are at each other's throats.

Can a crew of humans and aliens stop an intergalactic war before it's too late?

If you liked the Expeditionary Force and Earthrise Series, Ender's Game, and Stargate, you'll like this.

Elie N. Azar (elienazar) | 18 comments My name is Elie Azar, the N. in my profile stands for my father's name, Najib.

I am 27 years old, born and raised in Lebanon, I currently work as a financial reporter and I am a licensed (non - active) CPA from the state board of accountancy of the state of New Hampshire.

To me, writing is a safe space where I can freely express myself and let my emotions be.

A place where I forget my own gender, age and race, a place where my heart is the only boss.

Throughout the course of my life, writing has been my coping mechanism, writing about people and things that happened with me, and how I wish things could have been, gave me this sense of power and freedom.

Every time I write, I feel like I broke the chains of my chaotic silence.

Looking forward to interacting with everyone and having their support/reviews!

I'm currently reading You, Me & The Sea by Elizabeth Haynes and loving every single word of it.

Gina David | 2 comments Hi I'm Gordon, a newly published author looking to promote my debut novel Rainy Day Ramen and the Cosmic Pachinko by Gordon Vanstone Rainy Day Ramen and the Cosmic Pachinko by Gordon Vanstone

A delightfully debauched, spiritual quest through a hallucinatory Japan of cursed gaijin houses, seedy hostess bars, a Beatles-themed McDonalds, mysterious internet cafe denizens, and one seriously pissed off cat.
Charging through Shinjuku's neon jungle, enveloped in a boozy, nicotine-stained haze, past and present collide as an empty orchestra croons a slow dance of people and place, memory and madness, loss and love. All the while, Fred struggles to be an agent of his destiny and not another ball bearing bouncing through the cosmic pachinko.
Rainy Day Ramen and the Cosmic Pachinko is told as a uniquely clever mix of Murakami-esque magical realism and gonzo Japan travelogue. Nimbly structured and loosely presented as a modern mash-up of Homer's Odyssey and Murasaki Shikibu's The Tale of Genji.
