Hi, Jessica. Would you be interested in reviewing, The Magic Leaf? It is a picture book about friendship. You can send a PM to me if you would like a copy. Thanks.

Jessica, Would you consider reviewing my book "Scribbles Sissin and the Misused Matriarch?" It is an Amazon eBook and can be read for free using Amazon Unlimited. It is 545 Kindle pages, and it contains a female assassin, a devil and demons, and an abundance of adult material. Thank you, P'Owl

As a newbie, I’d like to ask some questions, how do you gain followers or traffic in your site?
Is it wise to have my site in tumblr when most of the book blogging community is in Wordpress or wixsite?
I’m so new, what exactly do you do when book blogging? What are book tours?
Any tips you’d like to share to this newbie?
Thanks!

I'm a new author of a dark fantasy novel called "After the Bees". I'm hoping to make a few connections here to get honest interest and reviews for my work.
When I read and review work I prefer it to be dark fantasy as well or horror/thriller.

Some of my all-time favorite authors are Stephen King and Cassandra Clare, and a new favorite is Stuart Turton. If we’re talking poetry, I’m all about Poe. Some tidbits about me: I’m the mother of a wild toddler, I own the sassiest corgi known to man, I married my high school sweetheart, and I identify heavily with Hermione Granger.

I'm currently going through my editor's developmental edits. It took me about 3 months to write my first book, not including the many months it took me to do the self-edit.
I read my first ebook in university, about four years ago. I had to grab a cheap deal on The Atlantis Gene, by A.G. Riddle. Ebooks actually got me to start reading again.
I started reviewing my first book after I saw a request to leave a review in the back of an ebook.
I mostly review books to let people know what good books there are, and to warn people away from books that are not so good.

I released Syndrome on paperback on January 14, 2020, and then the Kindle version on January 17. I’m already writing my next book, which will be a novella.
I love writing. I’ve been doing it since I was in elementary school. I used to work in film and did some sports writing. Now I’m doing what I always wanted to do: write books.
When it comes to reading, I actually prefer audiobooks, just because that’s the best way I can retain the information. Plus, I’m always doing something productive, so audio allows me to multitask, even when I’m trying to go to sleep.

l recently updated it and have included a small section for writers, authors and indie publishers on book marketing, i.e. reaching more readers. (The whole book can be used for that, or for achieving any goal.)

I'm Jessie, and I'm an indie author. I have a debut urban fantasy novel releasing at the end of next month (which I'm actively seeking ARC reviewers for!), and I'm grateful for groups like this to connect with other authors and avid readers. I'm a huge bookworm, too, and always pretty much have been. I mainly write urban fantasy, historical fantasy, and paranormal romance, but I've also ventured into horror and scifi.
Thank you so much for having me! :)

I'm both looking for reviewers and inspiration, guidance and tips from the community but also hope I can assist with beneficial input.
Thank you all, have a nice evening <3
How To Teach Kid's to Read in 2020+

I am new to Goodreads and I just love the vibe here especially on this thread.
I am a recently published author who ecstatically just discovered the writer in me after many years working as a software geek. My first foray into your world is Fella:
Fella is a very short story about a gifted slave’s dramatic bid for freedom from the cotton plantations of the Deep South and how his insatiable desire for freedom leads to far-reaching and unintended consequences.
Fella is apparently doing well on Amazon with not too shabby reviews so far:
“Vivid page turner”, “Hauntingly good read…”, “A very well written gripping novel...”, “… will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions…”, “Brilliantly Written: Deeply Philosophical, Meaningful and Powerful…”
Grab a copy on Amazon

and please please please let me know what you think.

My name is Arriah. I am 30 years old and recently became active on Goodreads when I realised there is so much to explore here. I am also an indie author and want to start focussing on my passion for writing. By being here, joining the groups of readers and authors, it kind of motivates me to follow my passion. I am really, really and really glad to connect with you all.
Thanks for inspiring me. I need it :-)

My name is Jessica. I'm eighteen years old and have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. My favorite books are Demian by Hermann Hesse, Cannery Row by John Steinbeck, and Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See - among others. I'm going to be out of school until at least May 15th and I'd love to read and review basically anything to occupy myself, so I thought I'd try out this group to see if I could accomplish anything, haha. Nice to meet y'all!

I wrote a book that you may enjoy. The title is Turn Your Happiness On. Here is the Goodreads link. Let me know if you are interested. I can send you a mobi, epub, or pdf.

Hello Elayna: I am just coming out of the closet as a writer. I would be thrilled if you could check out my first book "Fella" https://www.amazon.com/Fella-Obinna-I.... It is a very short read.

I'm Jake, I've been on Goodreads for just over a year and somehow only now discovering that these brilliant groups exist!
I finished studying economics and finance at University last year so any book business or economics usually catches my eye! But I'm also big into history, politics and any books that I can learn something useful or interesting from! I'm also hoping to start reviewing books soon.
I'm aiming to read 20 books this year as I only managed 17 last year.
Looking forward to getting involved in the group!

My name is Ella Cooper and I am a new author.
I enjoy writing short and steamy romance stories and have published my first book in Dec 19.
Is great to be a part of this group, thank you!

My name is James Montgomery and I just published a romantic comedy entitled Buckskin Cody. Feel free to check it out. You'll laugh your ass off. Looking to make new friends, and I'd love to engage with new readers. And fellow authors. My arms are open to everyone, so please, run towards me! We'll fall down in the sand and roll around on the beach together!

As I'm sure most writers are, I've always been a book lover and an avid reader, but I've always been a little wary of reviewing books.
After my extremely negative experiences with various critiquing groups (apparently my idea of constructive criticism is outright critical and I'm only supposed to gush about how great everyone's first draft is), I've kept my opinions to myself.
Anyway, I'm happy to be part of the group! I look forward to making some new friends!

We launched the DW sequel yesterday and are running a promo until midnight, if anyone's interested in adding to the tbr mountain.

Nice to meet you all.

Hi, Ray! Your series sounds intriguing! I'll check it out today!
I'm also looking for reviews. If you might be interested in a paranormal-horror romance mashup of shifters, demons and soul-devouring spirits, let me know. I can send you a blurb/sample to see if it's to your taste.
If not, no worries. I'm a mom of 2, working from home, so I can totally relate! I hope all is well!

Hell yeah, I'll read it. Who isn't interested in soul-devouring spirits? I'll pm you now...

Here's a bit about myself:
I am an educator, historian, and award-winning photographer. When not in the studio I'm in the classroom teaching photography and digital illustration at the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University. My specialized area of historical study is the city of Venice and its early photographers."
Looking forward to interacting with other Authors and reviewers.

I just published my first book and am looking for a support network and people to share the news with, I think I found it :D

Hi Leona! The beauty of Northern Ireland took my breath away! Hospitality and tourism is suffering now but it will come roaring back just in time for you to finish your studies. I'm currently editing my latest novel and will be seeking reviewers by fall.

I'm J. Steven Lamperti. I'm a new author. I recently self published my second novel. I'm desperately trying to figure out how to promote them both. I will be posting below in a self promotion folder. Thanks for creating this group.

I currently co-write a YA book blog. So far, it's pretty small but we are hoping to get more followers (if you would like to follow it, you can view the blog here: https://writersyabookreviews.wordpres...)
I am so excited to review books. I will give honest reviews and I read fast!
