Hello all. I'm Brad.

I've recently released a collection of poems, Fifty Poems and the Kitchen Sink. It currently has no reviews (I'm absolutely terrible at marketing) so I was hoping to connect the dots here. Or at least get some valuable networking experience.

I'm new to GoodReads and am still learning my footing, so I hope you'll be patient with me.

Bob Whitely (qt_games) | 9 comments Hi Brad. I'm fairly new to Goodreads as well. Just getting my footing, too, but it seems like a friendly place. Everyone's kind of doing their own thing, but as with most corners of the web, the more you get involved, the more interesting things get. Welcome! Have a look around and get plugged in!

S.E. Steele (sesteele) | 2 comments It was my best friend, a woman who made me do this, she read my writing, and told me to go for it! I am SE Steele...I am a new author but not a new writer...been writing for years but finally decided to start putting it out there with the encouragement this friend and others! I am a lover of everything from Stephen King to Jane Austen to James Joyce to C.S. Lewis. I am not your usual reader.

I am introducing my debut book which is available on my website at www.sesteelewriter.com which is an entirely different kind of book for those of you looking for something different. The book is available for pre-order on Amazon and will be available July 9 and it is called A Decent Lie. The book is about a girl trapped in a polygamous marriage but who is very much in love with a different man. The catch-she begins to be drawn into a world where she develops relationships with her sister-wives that are definitely that the norm for her day-and her life changes. You can find out more at my website.

Rich Rubin | 30 comments Hello everyone,

I'm very happy I found this group. My name is Rich, and I'm working on my first full length novel called My New Roommate. When I say novel it's probably bordering on very long novella or very short novel. I'd like to say it falls in the New Adult genre. My main protagonist is going through many firsts in life, similar to the YA genre, but he's 22. The quick summary is that he's been living with his girlfriend for two years as they finish college, and gets dumped the day after graduating. There's no handbook on what to do in this situation, so he does what he can to block the pain, including turning to manipulative behavior. Only after hitting rock bottom a time or two does he begin to see there's still life out there for him without his ex.

It's not out yet, but the good news is content wise my editor and I are happy. I will be self publishing this story soon.

I've previously self published two short erotica stories, but wanted to switch gears now.

Nice to meet you all!

My name is Conrad Guardipee and I'm on the verge of self-publishing my first ever novel titled "Lucid Sacred Dreams" in early November. I've been told the Goodreads community is a must join due to all the literary giants and minds found here:) My style is first person narrative contemporary fiction.

Digging into my passion after years of rejecting it has been a self-fulfilling journey and I look forward to sharing my story with others. PM if you'd like more details or a chance to read early.

message 1089: by Powl (new)

Powl Ami | 9 comments Dear Tina, Could you take a stab at reviewing my book? I am fairly certain it falls outside of the YA to CR continuum, but it does contain the improvement of a weak marriage and a growing friendship between two mature ladies (one just happens to be an assassin). I should warn that it also contains sexual content but I would not term it erotica. If you want to pass, please let me know so I can continue my quest of finding a reviewer. If yes, it is on Kindle Unlimited. If you prefer, I can send it via pdf. Thank you sincerely, P'Owl

message 1091: by Hannah (new)

Hannah Sandoval | 7 comments Hi, everyone. Happy to be here. I'm a professional ghostwriter and editor operating under my own business, PurpleInkPen. My YA fantasy novel, Arcamira, is coming out in March 2020 from Cosmic Egg Books. It’s a fantasy-paranormal crossover wherein classic high fantasy species like elves, fairies, and griffins face off paranormal monsters like vampires and werewolves. Some of my all-time favorite authors are Stephen King and Cassandra Clare, and a new favorite is Stuart Turton. If we’re talking poetry, I’m all about Poe. Some tidbits about me: I’m the mother of a wild toddler, I own the sassiest corgi known to man, I married my high school sweetheart, and I identify heavily with Hermione Granger.

Isabella, the link is below. It is my first and only book, so I truly hope you find it interesting. Currently, I am finishing chapter two of the follow-on book; and since I write slowly, it might be done by this time next year. Thank you for your interest. Sincerely, P'Owl
