My name is Andres and I am new to this group. I have been perusing the threads which many of them seem to be long dead. I currently write comical fantasy after searching through a few books and authors I felt like a genre was missing and thus begin my inspiration. I look forward to meeting you.

Bookstagram - bookcosmos96 Finally , I'm. A learner forever.

Hi Deshna - I'm a rabid bookstagrammer - it is by far my fave social media platform - and I followed you! I'm @errinstevens. :-)

Welcome! It is nice to hear that you want to review. Check out my children's books and let me know if you would like to review any of them. Thanks.

Three college juniors. A swim team. A manipulative coach. Unexpected life circumstances. A girl struggling with her sexuality. A story that you will not forget.
Angels Can’t Swim is a novella that captures so many elements of the life of a student-athlete, from mental health to sexuality to relationships. While partially a story about swimming, it is also the story of finding yourself, finding your voice, and figuring out who you want to be. Focusing on college students and those around them but dealing with issues that cross the lifespan, readers from young adult all the way up will all enjoy this book and find something in one of the characters that sounds a little bit like them.

I have read quite a number of different books over the years and have recently written a YA fantasy book that is available on Amazon. Check it out if you are interested. I would love to hear from all of you about your favourite authors as well.

I am the author of one novel and one book of short stories, both published Filidh Publishing, a small indie press in Victoria BC Canada.
I write urban fantasy, horror, fables myths & fairytales, and whatever else catches my fancy.

I'm David :) I'm not much of a reader or reviewer myself, but I do have a book, a personal memoir based on past events surrounding my family and the child services, very light hearted stuff ;) But all joking aside, Michelle, all reviews, whether they are articulately written or not are welcomed by authors. It's your opinion, and that's what counts to!

I am writing a series of stories about a girl with a sword, and am looking for beta readers and reviewers. I write a mashup of fantasy/historical/sci fi genres. My stories are fast paced, light hearted, and suitable for all ages to read. Fans of Xena, Lara Croft, or Buffy will enjoy the adventures of Zax.
I've started posting chapters on Inkitt. Ruckus is finished, but I suffer from the plague that I think afflicts all writers, and I can't stop messing with the manuscript, so I haven't finished posting all the chapters yet. I will have them all up by Monday, though.
This is the link, and the blurb for my story. I would very much appreciate your input, feedback, and comments, either here or there. I am happy to send the manuscript to you for beta reading another way, if you don't want to go to inkitt. https://www.inkitt.com/stories/fantas...
Paladinne. Claviger of Qataban. Demon Dealer. Bloody Harridan. Black Marid. Annihilator of Armies. Ravenshield. Her friends call her Zax.
It's just another day - take the relic to the place the person that needs to use it will find it when the time is right. The only problem is there's a demon in between Zax and where she needs to put the relic.
Dealing with the demon, resurrecting a phoenix, restoring a Tree of Life, and freeing Thuận Thiên is all in a day's work, but when Zax returns home, she learns an epic crisis that threatens to destory gods and goddesses, civilizations, and maybe even the world is looming - and only she can stop it.
All over the world things have already been set in motion by malevolent forces bent on using war, slavery, misery, and death to gain power and subjugate the world to their will. But, if there's one thing Zax likes almost more than a good fight, it's a convoluted, complicated plan - she's got one of those, and she's had it for longer than even she knows.
In Sotomemopia, Awaji, Kurufaba, Eire, Kemet, and Aztlan, along with Bastian, her quantamly entangled soul mate, Kasuku, an immortal parrot, Hellion, a sentient sword cursed by Hel's Hunger to embody Vengeance, the fleet of the Bloody Harridan, and a coalition of Vagabonds, Zax sets out to do what she does best - save the world.

I'm Bo. I write fantasy and sci-fi and think (hope) I'm getting better at it with every sentence.
I am a total noob to all that comes after it and am learning to tolerate it. Trying to learn to tolerate- attempting to learn to... trying to attempt- Aw heck, I got used to back pain I'm sure I'll get used to this.

Please take a moment to look at my debut novel - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
It's a YA Fantasy novel and it will take you on a journey to the after-life!
It's my first book in the series!
It's available on amazon in both kindle and paperback!
Please do leave a review if you like it!
I would foreva be grateful! :)

I'm a new author (and publisher), hoping to get reviews at some point--possibly soon. I'm really not certain how to approach it as I'm fairly new at everything. I mostly write African Historical Fantasy and African Fantasy, but I have dabbled in literary erotica. I have no published fiction that isn't African Fantasy (that includes the erotic stories), so if you are interested in anything in that subgenre, do please check out my author page.

I'm John. I'm glad to be a part of the group. Long-time reader. New author. I published my first novel,Pandora Reborn this summer. It is a YA Horror novel for anyone interested in those genres. I'd love to have some readers here review it. Message me if you're interested. Feel free to add me as a friend and follow my author page.

I found this group while checking out the page of an author I follow and have done a review for. I am in the process of reviewing another book for her.

My name is Angela and I published my debut novel Rebirth this past April. I'm always looking for new readers and new inspirations as I continue my series. My book can be found on Amazon.

I'm excited to find this group because not only do I enjoy reading and reviewing books, but I'd dearly love honest reviews of my own books. This group seems a match made in heaven!
While I read a wide variety of books, my go-to genre is historical romance since that's also the genre in which I write. Great to "meet" everyone!

My name is Shana and I adore reading books from new Indie authors. I read almost anything except religious, or erotica - I simply do not enjoy reading these genres. Children, Middle Grade, YA, Mystery, Thriller, Science Fiction, Historical Fiction, Literary Fiction, and Fantasy, are books I enjoy reading.
I have recently joined Goodreads, even though I have been an avid reader. I am looking to become more active now, and look forward to this new journey.
It's nice to be a part of this wonderful group.
Best,
Shana

Hi Shana! *waves*

I am currently working on an erotic serial about a divorcee who is bent on making up for lost time (Nessie's Diary). I would appreciate it if someone took a look at them and left a review. I would be happy to return the same favor.

Thank you for a wonderful community. It really is the case you find the right people when the timing is just perfect. I have recently published my first novel "Truth in Death" and am really proud of it.
I am seeking reviews. Family and friends have been great, they found it to be a page turner, but I am now seeking independent reviews.
It's centred around Martha, a young women, who's life purpose is to please those around her, finds herself caught up in the murder of a local bar owner. With challenges of their own, her friends seek to find her innocence as they unravel secrets of criminal behaviour.
It would be my absolute pleasure to have you review my story. If you would kindly let me know the format that suits you and I can arrange for it to be sent.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this comment and I truly look forward to connecting with many of you.
Janette Collins

Hi Chrys
Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and the early pages of my novel.
Your comments confirm my fears. Initially, I wanted to defend myself; to tell you how this area of writing is my weakness; how I have had my work edited several times; how I have never been properly taught punctuation, or at least it has never stuck. The truth is I am truly grateful for your feedback. It is good to have something that needs improving.
My biggest worry now is that I am doing my readers a disservice, by not supplying a quality read. From a story point of view I have received some fantastic feedback about the pace; the need to read on; eager anticipation for the next book; the suspense etc… which is great, but they do deserve the quality of a well presented read.
I am making the assumption that you have suppled the feedback with the intention to encourage, guide and support? and was hoping you would present a few examples to help me entertain my readers with the quality they deserve. I would be happy for you to email me your findings if you prefer jmcollins17@hotmail.com.
With much appreciation
Janette Collins.

I'm not an editor myself, but I can offer you a few examples. For example, in the very first sentence, it should be 'summer's day'--with the possessive apostrophe. The first sentence of the second paragraph is in present tense, whereas the novel is in past tense. The first sentence of the third paragraph is missing a full stop.
I don't have time to go further, I fear. I have my own novels edited by four different people, two of them fellow writers (we exchange such duties for each other) and two keen fans who are excellent editors and pleased to be early readers of my books.
There are various groups on Goodreads for writers seeking editing help (and reviews). Maybe sign up for some of them?

I was originally from London but now reside in Norfolk.
I love Fantasy and Science Fiction and I am an honorary geek and newbie Cosplayer
Over the years I played self created modern fantasy games based around D&D rules and realised we were creating stories each time we played.
I eventually decided to tweak the stories and characters to make a hopefully readable story and my first book is out Friday
if you want to know more or just chat then give me a shout
Happy reading everyone ( and Happy Christmas as it's getting closer and has invaded everywhere.)

Looking forward to connecting with authors and reviewers.

I am new to the world of Goodreads and I’m loving it! I recently self-published a children’s music book that helps young children learn music at a young age and am so excited to share it with everyone here. Thanks for setting this group up, looking forward to connecting with lots of great book lovers!

I'm Renee A. Moses, an indie author. All of this is still new to me. I have been on Goodreads on the reader side, but not as an author. It's exciting to finally be on the other side lol. I write contemporary women's fiction. My debut novella is Two Lefts, One Right: The Wrong Turns in Love and I'm finishing the final touches to the sequel. I am happy to be here with all of you creative beings and pray much success for each one of us as writers!

I'm Sierra Kay. I write contemporary suspense based on fairy tales and fantasy, which is mouthful to say and a humdinger to write. But I write what I love as all authors do. I also write poetry.

Hello everyone! I'm Barbara from Auckland, author of romantic suspense/ fantasy novels. Thanks for having me :)

I would like reviews for my book, since they tend to help new readers reach out and grab a book. So with that, please take care of me. My fantasy book is called The Red Lands, and it's available in Amazon.
