Say Hello! [Introductions]

I'm Ginny O. and I'm a recently self published author of a science fantasy novel called The Lone Prospect about werewolves who ride floating motorcycles and do security work. I hope to publish some short stories in the same universe soon and have a fantasy novel I'd like to publish next March. I'm still learning about all this as I enjoy doing things the hard way apparently.

You can check it out on Goodreads and Amazon at the links below. Thanks! Oh, and my website is www.jeffminerd.com

I'm a new author, published my first book last month and am new to Goodreads. I write mainly erotic romance, which is the genre of my book which will be a trilogy. Arousing Consequences. You can also visit my site for a few shorts and poems. https://camjohns.com/blog/

I am currently writing a new dark fantasy trilogy called "The Seer of Grace and Fire" with elves, faeries, dragons and demons. Look forward to interacting in this group.
Thank you for letting me join this group.

My name's Rachel and I'm an avid reader and an aspiring writer. English isn't my native language, but I do consider it my second language.
As a teen, I published two Middle Grade books in Dutch which I kind of want to forget about.
I'm currently editing a YA scifi, finishing the first draft of a YA fantasy and working on far too many side projects
Call me crazy, if you wish.
Thanks for reading this!

Anyway, my second book has just been published. It is called French Women's Confidence Secrets. It is a confidence-boosting book for women, based on the information about the confidence-building techniques shared with me by several of my best French friends. Talking about secrets, I can not tell you how much fun I had writing this book.
I have only just recently joined Goodreads and I feel a bit lonely - would welcome any friends requests!

A little about the book if I may: Slaying Dragons is a term used to describe, in this instance, someone who has overcome their battle with addiction to drugs and/or alcohol as well as defeating evil or the Devil.
I took the biblical reference of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and turned it into a series. Each book deals with the wrath that each horseman brings but with an added twist to each book.
The Four Horseman are:
1. White Horseman - brings pestilence (a deadly plague that is unleashed upon the Earth).
2. Red Horseman - brings war.
3. Black Horseman - brings famine.
4. Pale Horseman - brings death (Devil).
Addiction & Pestilence is a compelling look at addiction and the perseverance of the human spirit. If you're ready, take the journey and see the world through the eyes of these colorful characters as they journey through Hell.
Thank you taking the time to read this!

Hi. I'm Nia Markos.
I am new to writing and my first book will be out sometime in January 2017.
I love to read. That's an understatement. I usually read two to three books a week. I miss it. Since starting writing I find less time to do it. I am hoping to grab a book and sit myself down with it this week.

I am new here. This site overall is quite comprehensive. I have a book in manuscript (Word). I could use a little help. I can't quite figure out how to get it "on" to this website. Is there a "How you do it" section for this website I am missing?
Thanks;

Hello! I'm an author and avid reader of all genres. I am currently working on a series that deals with the impact of preconceived notions in a sci-fi genre. I look forward to connecting with other authors and hopefully seeing some reviews on my book.
P.S.- Any other authors feel emotionally drained when writing?

So far, reviews on Amazon have been excellent, I think all of them are 5 stars? But the response on Goodreads has been less positive, and there aren't many of them at all. And that's where you come in, ideally! :)

If any of you are interested, it's available as an old fashioned paperback at Lulu, or for 99 cents as an ebook on Amazon. Cheers!

My name is James L. Grey. I just released my first book of erotic BDSM short stories called "Kitten's Tail". And I am currently working on three more collections of short stories.

I've been a member of Goodreads for several years now, but I have to admit I've been easily overwhelmed trying to navigate my way around. I've tended to shy away from the groups here, but recently, I decided to reach out beyond my own Goodreads profile. I want to get a better feel for how the site is fully intended to work for readers and authors alike.
I'll be upfront and mention that I'm a Contemporary Romance author, but my intentions aren't to spam the groups I participate in or look for every opportunity to talk about my own works. I really do enjoy the online community of readers, bloggers, graphic artists and fellow authors. I have grown a fabulous network of friends on other social media sites and now I hope to grow my community here on Goodreads.
Happy Reading,
Jennifer :)

My name is Laura, and, yes.......I love books. I think it is so interesting how authors are able to create such detailed and complex worlds on a daily basis. Kudos to every author!
I have a wide range of interests. I enjoy reading books from the following genres: Romance, Erotic, Paranormal, Western, Fantasy, Dystopia, Comedy, and NA/YA.
I love reading books with the following additional themes: LGBTQ, shifters, menage, BDSM, sports, vampires, werewolves, and Daddy Dom.

Hi Lauren,
I am wondering if you would like to review one or more of my children's books? If you are interested, you can send a PM to me.
Thanks.

My name's Amit, I'm the author of the book Where Have You Been, which is my first published novel. I am currently working on another one and hoping to have it published by the end of the year.

I am the author of several books, the newest being my first one where words far outweigh the images within.

I am interested in reading and reviewing independent works and so am combing through Goodreads for things I am interested in digging into.

PM me if you'd like to receive ARCs (from me) automatically based on your interests.
There's a lot of great people out here willing to share their knowledge and expertise!

My name is Adrienne and although, I am not new to GoodReads, I haven't been especially social until recently. I am a voracious reader and love the Classics (Shakespeare/Mythology/Jane Austin/Bronte sisters, etc.) but Paranormal Romance has been my favorite genre over the last few years.
My new site ireadlove.com is where I will place the review as well as any other site you'd like. So, if you have a book in the Paranormal or Contemporary Romance genre, I would be happy to read and review your books.

Welcome, Terily. I hope to hear more from you on some of the books you are reading. Keep warm now! Rory

I'm Daniel, some people online call me Dev, and I'm a writer. Since I was very young I've fell in love with fantasy, either from movies with cheap CGI to puzzles and books. Unfortunately, I was never able to get my hands on one of those board games, but I digress. I started writing silly roleplays to fanfiction and I have now concluded a book. Chronicles of A Lost Acadan, that is scarcely based on my childhood. Because I am currently unemployed, I hope one day to be a full time, comitted writer, but only time will tell.

Welcome Wendy! :o)

Hi Terily,
I was wondering if you would be interested in reviewing children's books.
I am looking for book reviewers to review 2 of my eBooks, Big and Small in the Mirror, and The Magic Leaf. I have a 3rd book, Humanitarians, Visionaries, Heroes, and You, which is available in print only.
Big and Small in the Mirror is about bullying that happens in the school environment. The two main characters, Carlo and Marco, learn the effects of bullying on their self-images and how positive relationships help them grow. The book is appropriate for children between 8-10 years old.
I provide discussion questions at the end of the book to help parents and teachers facilitate a discussion about bullying, and to put the story in perspective.
The Magic Leaf is about a small-town boy who learns the value of friendship. The appropriate reading age would be 6-8. It has beautiful illustrations.
Humanitarians, Visionaries, Heroes, and You is a collection of 7 inspiring mini-biographies and my own reflections, intended to encourage the reader to join a growing movement towards social responsibility and global citizenship. This book is for an older audience (10 – 12+). It is sold on my website and Amazon.ca.
If you decide to review one or both of the eBooks, I will send a copy to you. Both eBooks are on Amazon and in the iBooks Store, so you can choose a Kindle or ePub copy.
If you want a copy of Humanitarians, Visionaries, Heroes, and You, let me know.
Thank you for your time.
Warm regards,
Mary
