Jax | 990 comments I love books about 'broken men' finding happiness. I just put this on my Amazon wish list earlier today even though I've had mixed results with this author. Liked his Deep Blues Goodbye (co-written with L.E. Harner), DNF his Second Chances. I may wait to start this until the third & final part comes out though, in case #2 also ends with a cliffhanger.

I've not yet read the first one you mention, but have read Let's Hear it for the Boy and it's so worth reading, but it's more an emotional drama and about love lost to AIDS; it's awesome (I've not yet gotten to the review); I've read only 5% of Second Chances by T.A. Webb thus far, so jury is still out on this one. Knightmare does end with a cliff hanger, but it's incredible and not to be missed! Don't worry about reading now/or later - the final one of the trilogy will be out in less than two months...

Though no longer free, the novella is still only $.99 cents and an excellent purchase to get you started with the series.

Jon (jon_michaelsen) | 187 comments Great news! The incredible "City Knight" series, a compilation of five novellas, each released singularly over the past by prolific author, T.A. Webb are now combined in one volume titled "City Knight" - Complilation for an astounding $4.99 - an excellent gay romance, mystery/thriller series.

I really think you'll enjoy, Ulysses!!

Ulysses Dietz | 2013 comments My buddies in the BackLot Gay Book Forum had been going on forever about T.A. Webb's "City Knight" series within the larger Pulp Friction series. When the compilation of the five City Knight books appeared, I snapped it up.

And I'm glad I did. Marcus and Ben - and the expanding circle of friends/family whom we meet in the course of the five volumes - are heartwarming and authentic. Because the format is a series of novellas, plot narrative moves along quickly, but without feeling rushed or truncated as so many shorter format books can feel. Of course, I suspect I'll need to eventually read all of the other series in the Pulp Friction group to get the full picture.

But for now, "City Knight" is a great start.

I told you that you'd enjoy the series! He has begun a new series with the first, The Broken Road Cafe, which I am looking forward to reading.
