History: She was born and raised in England by her older brother Kyle and never knew her parents. When she was 11 her brother disappeared and she hasn't seen him since. When she was 13 the government found out about her and tested on her leaving her scarred mentally and physically. She refuses to speak to anyone out loud because of her past. She will only speak through telepathy. She escaped from the government when she was 15 and is on the run from them. She found peace in music and is almost always found with headphones on her or in her bag. She has piercing eyes that change color but usually stay in their normal piercing blue color. She lived on the street for about 7 years collectively including when she lived with her brother who is missing and most likely dead. Relationship Status: Quint's college sweetheart was killed in a brutal campus shooting spree. Even though he helped apprehend he perpetrator, Quint still feels responsible for not being there to save Shira. history: her power is a mutation so she always carried it, she became fully aware of her power when she was 12. she was on a plane with her family when a freak storm broke out and a bolt of lightning struck the plane, as it shook she held onto the plane and found herself feeling a buzzing sensation; as if she was just getting a small electrical shock. she essentially soaked up the lightning and struck the plane with lightning just by touching it. the plane crashed, killing tons of passengers and her family. after this she ran away.

more about her: charles xavier found her and took her in with the promise that he would help her control her powers so she couldn't hurt anybody. he did just that, and even helped her strengthen her powers so she could help in a fight. she's not the best in social situations and she's easily scared by crowded places and loud noises, she hates that she is so weak in these situations. she gets on well with the other x-men but is similar to the wolverine in that she's a loner, when there's no battle to fight she lives on her own in a rural area (so she doesn't have to worry about her powers creating damage).
