I am wondering your character creation process? How do you come up with them? How do you name them?

How do you gear the relations of your character to be so sweet yet realistic? Is it from personal experience, or are they characters from figmnents of your imagination? I often read books that become a tad too about the physical relationship, or made the male hero so sickly sweet that it is unrealistic. So I was wondering what is it that makes your writing on the characters (dialogue and descriptions) that make them so different?
How do you come up with the characters you created and their stories?
