I am a big fan of Ed Mc Bain's THE 87TH PRECINCT NOVELS. Is this a series or not?

As I was setting up my bookshelf I did not see any that listed the order numbers and before I started a big project I thought I should check. I only did a random check of about 8 books but none of the editions showed the order.
New Question...I am a fairly new librarian and I am willing to take on the project of putting the series order on the books but I want to do it right. My question is : Do I need to change each edition? They appear to already be combined but none of them list the series name or number.
Unfortunately, yes. As things currently stand, if you want to add series info to a book, you have to add it to every edition separately.
Thanks! I just do not want to do a half job. Thank goodness for C & P to make things faster.Going back to my project now.
