Aries (arieseroles) | 33 comments Hey fellows! There will be a book launching of Marites Khanser's The Lost Disk at Fullybooked Ayala Center Cebu this 21st of July.

message 55: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte (cf25) | 52 comments Charlotte here from Gensan....

Maayong adlaw sa inyong tanan!!

Thoughts and Pens

EJ (edward_krit) | 21 comments From Davao here. :)

Uhm, about sa stores, well fortunately naglipana ang mga stores diri. NBS, FullyBooked and even BookSale branches available tanan sa Davao city (wow, nanghambog).

And, according to National Bookstore, naa daw book signing sa 'The Selection' by Kiera Cass sa Cebu. So bad, dili ko ka-avail sa promo. Di bale, naa bitaw si DJPadilla sa among school by August 3. Yeye! :)

message 57: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte (cf25) | 52 comments Hi, Edward. Makasuya lagi ang Davao kay dali jud ang access sa klase-klaseng books.

EJ (edward_krit) | 21 comments Indeederst!
Hoho :)

The Fully Booked branch in Davao (which happens to be in Abreeza Ayala Mall, Bajada) offers a wide range of genres of books.

Then, maka-amaze ang ilang floor tiles. Pramis! It's super duper cute, then they also have a special area for hardcover books that is separated from the paperback ones. Yun nga lang, mas cheaper ang books sa NBS compared to Fully booked. But if you have quite enough amount of money to spend, well okay kaayo ang fully booked.

Usahay naa pud books na mas mura sa NBS and pag naa ka card, naa pud ka 5% discount mao ng sa Fullybooked jud ko gapalit. :D pero nanira sila diri.

message 77: by Louize (new)

Louize (thepagewalker) | 1831 comments H'wag na mo maulaw, go ahead and meet up guys. We want to hear and see some news from that part. :)

Better yet, start the year by joining the online book discussion of the month, and then have yourself your very own F2F (face to face discussion). We can share how the F2Fs went from our different venues.

If you need help organizing, I am sure the moderators can lend a hand, as limited as it might be considering the geography.

Tina (tinamats) | 2665 comments Hello! :D I don't know much Bisaya, so I'm guessing from some of the posts lang! Anyway, sure, feel free to have your own F2F discussions! I'd join you all if I can! If you want to set up a meet-up, just go and we'll even announce it so people from the nearby areas can join if they want. :)

And yes, like Louize said, we're more than willing to help. :D You can check out the F2F Moderating Tips and Tricks here, too. :D

And Merry Christmas! :)
